Johnson (foot) said Thursday that he'll play for the Eagles in 2026, opting against retirement, per Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Johnson will turn 36 in May after missing the final eight games of the 2025 campaign due to a Lisfranc injury. It's unclear if he had surgery, with Thursday's report merely noting that he's continuing his rehab and working to get back to full strength. The future Hall of Famer is under contract through 2027 with the only NFL team he's ever known, ranking among the elite at his position for more than a decade. Even if he declines some after the foot injury, Johnson's decision to keep playing is probably good news for the fantasy value of QB Jalen Hurts and RB Saquon Barkley.

Shaheed said Wednesday that he's "absolutely" interested in re-signing with Seattle, NFL.com's Eric Edholm reports.

Shaheed's snap share and target share dropped after a mid-season trade from New Orleans to Seattle, but he made splash plays for his new team -- both on offense and special teams -- en route to the Super Bowl. He'll now become a free agent in March if he doesn't first re-sign in Seattle, where fellow wideouts Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp and Tory Horton (shin) remain under contract.

Emmanwori finished the 2025 regular season with 81 tackles (56 solo), 2.5 sacks, 11 pass breakups and an interception through 14 games. He added 13 tackles (10 solo) and four pass breakups through three postseason outings.

Emmanwori was a finalist for Defensive Rookie of the Year and played a significant role in the Seahawks' path to the Super Bowl. The second-round pick is officially listed as a defensive back, and his ability to move around the formation allowed the Seahawks to keep him on the field regardless of the situation. Emmanwori proved to be a capable run-stopper and pass-rusher when operating as a linebacker, and his coverage skills exceeded expectations as a rookie while still having some room to grow. His flexibility in the formation was vital to keeping offenses guessing. We should expect Emmanwori to continue his upward trajectory in the 2026 season.

Thomas finished the 2025 regular season with 96 tackles (47 solo), 10.0 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, eight pass breakups and an interception through 17 regular-season games. He added 18 tackles (seven solo) through three playoff games.

EDGE Analysis

Thomas didn't begin the year as a starter, but he quickly overtook Tyrice Knight (concussion) for the top strongside linebacker job after just a couple of weeks. A third-year pro our of NC State, Thomas averaged 44.6 defensive snaps per game and finished second on the team in tackles and second in tackles for loss. Thomas is poised to be a restricted free agent this offseason.

Ferrell finished the 2025 regular season with 24 tackles (13 solo), including 4.0 sacks, in eight games played for the 49ers.

EDGE Analysis

Ferrell was one of several reserve linemen asked to fill in the big shoes left by DE Nick Bosa's season-ending knee injury. The 28-year-old Ferrell's finest performance came in Week 13 when he posted 2.0 sacks among his nine combined tackles against the Browns. The former No. 4 overall pick has shown some flashes of excellence during this brief run in San Francisco and also during his time as a starter with Washington in 2023. Ferrell -- an unrestricted free agent -- figures to draw interest this upcoming offseason from clubs who believe the defensive end is a late bloomer.

Davis finished the 2025 regular season with 28 tackles (10 solo), including 0.5 sacks, and three passes defended across 17 games played.

EDGE Analysis

The third-year lineman appeared in every game for the 49ers this season after combining for just 16 games played over his previous two years in the league. Davis finished the season as a starter while setting a new high-water mark in combined tackles with 28. The UCF product will attempt to take another step forward in the final year of his rookie contract with the 49ers in 2026.

Elliott appeared in 16 regular-season games for the 49ers in 2025, finishing with 31 tackles (eight solo) and one pass defensed.

EDGE Analysis

Elliott was one of several rotating pieces defensive coordinator Robert Saleh deployed on the interior of the defensive line in 2025. The veteran nose tackle failed to make an impact in fantasy, finishing with zero sacks for the second straight season as a member of the 49ers. Elliott is set to become an unrestricted free agent this upcoming offseason.

Okuayinonu finished the 2025 regular season with 39 tackles (23 solo), including 3.0 sacks, and a forced fumble across 15 active games.

EDGE Analysis

Okuayinonu signed a one-year contract to return to the 49ers and serve as a backup edge rusher. The 27-year-old was afforded some extra run following DE Nick Bosa's severe knee injury early in the campaign. Okuayinonu finished with numbers similar to his solid run as a reserve in 2024, so it wouldn't be surprising to see San Francisco bring back the unrestricted free agent for a third season in 2026.

Robinson recorded 42 tackles (19 solo) with one pass defended across 14 games with the 49ers in 2025.

EDGE Analysis

Fred Warner (ankle) headlined a list of injured linebackers that San Francisco was forced to play without for most of 2025. Robinson -- a career special-teamer -- took advantage of the available defensive snaps and set a new career high in combined tackles (42). The 28-year-old will become an unrestricted free agent this upcoming offseason, so Robinson will have to re-sign with his current club if he wants to spend a sixth season on the 49ers' special-teams unit.

Teller (calf) suggested Wednesday that he won't be re-signing with the Browns this offseason, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

EDGE Analysis

Teller is scheduled to hit the free-agent market next month and is the latest Browns player to hint that he'll be signing with a new team. After being selected in the fifth round of the 2018 Draft by the Bills, Teller was traded to the Browns in August of 2019 and was named to the Pro Bowl three times. He has also been a second-team All-Pro twice in his seven seasons with Cleveland. He figures to draw heavy interest in free agency.
