Williams caught three of four targets for 118 yards and two touchdowns while adding a one-yard run in Sunday's 38-14 win over the Browns.
EDGE Analysis
Williams did most of his damage on a two-play scoring drive in the second quarter. He caught a 44-yard deep ball on the first play of that drive, then added a 45-yard touchdown in triple coverage on the very next play. Williams added a 29-yard score later in the quarter. It's tough to predict which Chargers receiver will pop on any given week, but Williams will be in the mix against the Titans in Week 7.

Williams caught all three of his targets for 66 yards in the 26-10 win over the Raiders on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
It only took five weeks, but Williams finally crossed the 50-yard receiving threshold Sunday, thanks almost exclusively to a 48-yard bomb from Philip Rivers that started at the team's own two-yard line. Despite trailing just Keenan Allen in terms of yardage, Williams three targets were less than that of Allen, Melvin Gordon, Mike Williams and tied with Austin Ekeler. In other words, Williams position on the receiving hierarchy is the same as it has been throughout the opening portion of the 2018 season.

Williams caught three of his five targets for 48 yards in Sunday's 29-27 win over the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Williams saw the third most targets Sunday, but he still failed to tally at least 50 receiving yards for the fourth straight game. Williams can take solace in the fact that none of his fellow teammates compiled gaudy numbers either, but fantasy owners hoping for a breakthrough contest against a depleted San Francisco team were surely disappointed.

Williams caught two of this three targets for 22 yards and also carried the ball once for 14 yards in Sunday's 35-23 loss to the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
Through three weeks Williams has put together a measly seven receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown, while teammates Keenan Allen (17 catches, 219 yards, one touchdown) and Mike Williams (11 catches, 189 yards, three touchdowns) have thrived in the Chargers' high-octane offense. Dating back to Week 3 of last season, Williams has crossed the 50-yard receiving threshold just four times, and has tallied just two games with more than five receptions during that stretch. At this point, it's fair to suggest that fantasy owners may want to cut bait for a higher-upside option, as it will likely take an injury to someone above Williams on the depth chart in order to present him with more opportunities.

Williams caught all three of his targets for 48 yards in the 31-20 win over the Bills on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Williams surpassed his Week 1 receiving totals Sunday, but that's hardly a positive sign for fantasy owners as the fourth-year wide receiver has put together a modest 56 yards through two weeks. Melvin Gordon, Austin Ekeler and Keenan Allen once again received the largest share of the targets, relegating Williams to merely the fourth or fifth receiving option. And given Mike Williams continues to make waves, this time catching his first touchdown pass, it remains to be seen if Tyrell can wiggle his way back into prominence on the Chargers' explosive offense.

Williams caught two of his five targets for eight yards and a touchdown in the 38-28 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Williams salvaged what was an otherwise miserable fantasy day with a touchdown late in the fourth quarter as the Chargers attempted to muster an ill-fated comeback. While the fourth-year receiver did play 62 snaps, 15 more than No. 3 wide receiver Travis Benjamin and 18 more than No. 4 wideout Mike Williams, the "eldest" Williams was hardly utilized as quarterback Philip Rivers seemed content moving the ball through Keenan Allen (eight receptions, 108 yards and touchdown) and his squadron of running backs. It's clear that Williams ranks no higher than fourth when it comes to the receiving hierarchy in Los Angeles, and it could be even worse if Mike Williams continues to parlay an impressive preseason into the ensuing months of the regular season.

Williams isn't listed on the initial injury report for Sunday's opener against Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Williams dealt with foot soreness in late August but was back at practice Monday. He and Keenan Allen are listed as the starting wide receivers on the Chargers' depth chart, albeit with Mike Williams and Travis Benjamin looming as serious threats to steal snaps and targets from (Tyrell) Williams. A matchup with the Kansas City secondary could allow multiple wideouts to thrive Week 1.

Williams (foot) practiced Monday, Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams is definitely in the mix to see his share of targets from QB Philip Rivers this season, but consistent volume could be a issue for him, with target-hog Keenan Allen on hand, in addition to second-year wideout Mike Williams (a 2018 break-out candidate) and Travis Benjamin.

Williams (foot) did not play in Saturday's preseason contest against the Saints, Jack Wang of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams missed most of practice last week thanks to what was deemed "foot soreness". While the injury seems more like a nuisance as opposed to anything serious, it's unclear whether the third-year player will be able to play in Thursday's preseason contest against the 49ers. Given the Chargers have been overly cautious with most of their injured starters throughout the preseason, it's fair to say that should Williams miss the final preseason contest it doesn't mean he'll be unavailable for the official start of the 2018 campaign.

Williams is dealing with foot soreness, Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams was held out of practice Tuesday, but coach Anthony Lynn expects the 26-year-old wideout to be okay. Lynn also mentioned that Williams has been impressive at training camp, which is important given how much talent the Chargers have at wide receiver. Williams and Keenan Allen are listed as the starters on the team's preseason depth chart, but second-stringers Mike Williams and Travis Benjamin also figure to be key pieces in the offense.
