Williams caught two of his three targets for 58 yards and a touchdown in the 28-6 win Thursday over the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Thursday's Thanksgiving Day touchdown was only the second score for Williams this season, as the third-year receiver has struggled to generate much offense despite seeing the second most snaps of any Chargers' wide receiver. That could change depending on the status of 2017 first-round pick Mike Williams, who exited Thursday's game with a knee injury. If the rookie were to miss any time, Tyrell Williams figures to step in as the obvious No. 2 wide receiver - a juicy proposition given the Chargers face the Browns next Sunday.

Williams caught his only target for 11 yards in the 54-24 win over the Bills on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Williams abysmal stat line doesn't reflect his usage rate, as he was on the field for 61 of the Chargers' 74 snaps. That was the best mark of any Chargers' skill position player, with Keenan Allen and Philip Rivers held out for the majority of the fourth quarter having all but locked up the win before the start of the second half. It's quickly shaping up to be a disappointing season for Williams given the fact he has caught no more than two passes in each of the last four games.

Williams snagged two of his five targets for 49 receiving yards in the 20-17 overtime loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Williams actually led all Chargers receivers in total yardage, as the offense mainly revolved around dump-off passes to running backs Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler. A 30-yard reception by the second-year pro did equal the Chargers most explosive play of the afternoon, but given Williams' unsightly 59 percent catch rate, he's essentially a boom-or-bust player. While 2017 first-round pick, Mike Williams, hasn't seen much of an increase in snaps, it feels like only a matter of time until the Clemson product wiggles his way into a more prominent role, likely at the expense of Tyrell Williams.

Williams caught one of his six targets for 24 yards in the 21-13 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Catching just one of six targets sounds as bad as it looked, with the "highlight" being a critical dropped pass in the third quarter that would have extended a prolonged drive by the Chargers. While the six targets nearly represented a season-high, it's been a downright disappointing season for the 25-year-old after exploding onto the scene last season. None of that has to do with the addition of 2017 first-round pick, Mike Williams, who's largely been a non-factor in his three games since returning from a herniated disk in his back, but given Tyrell Williams' struggles it wouldn't be a shock to see the Chargers opt to utilize the younger counterpart following the team's Week 9 bye.

Williams caught his lone target for 11 yards during Sunday's 21-0 win over the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
The good news: Williams did see the second most snaps (43) of any Chargers wide receiver, as both Travis Benjamin and Mike Williams couldn't muster more than 25. The bad news: everything else. Following Sunday's dismal outing, Williams has failed to catch more than two passes in three of his five career games against the Broncos, and has failed to register more than 60 yards receiving in the last three games, combined. While the rest of the Chargers receiving core didn't fare much better Sunday, save for an explosive catch-and-run from Benjamin, Williams has certainly lost his fantasy luster following a breakout 2016 season.

Williams caught all three of his targets for 27 yards in the 17-16 win over the Raiders on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
It's about to get incredibly frustrating for fantasy owners of Williams in the coming weeks, as the 25-year-old saw his lowest snap count of the season (44) thanks in part to the addition of Mike Williams, who took part in his first game after suffering a back injury during the preseason. It's a trend that likely won't end anytime soon, particularly as the other Williams (Mike) begins to regain his strength.

Williams (neck) brought in one of two targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 27-22 win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The speedster didn't appear to be bothered by his neck injury, so the reduced production was seemingly circumstantial. The Giants secondary generally did a good job of making the Chargers work for all the passing yards they did get, leading to Williams' lowest target total and second-lowest receiving yardage in any game this season. Assuming there aren't any health-related setbacks, he'll look to bounce back in a much more favorable matchup against the questionable Raiders secondary in Week 6.

Williams (neck) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Williams was a full participant in practice each day this week, and will suit up, as expected, despite the "questionable" designation. The third-year player has seen more snaps than any other Chargers wideout, and his 24 targets are second only to Keenan Allen (40) on the team. Despite the high volume, Williams draws a relatively tough matchup, as Giants cornerbacks have allowed just two touchdowns to opposing wide receivers over the first four games of the season.

Williams (neck) will play Sunday against the Giants, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
EDGE Analysis
Williams is listed as questionable on the official injury report. He was a full participant in practice all week, so it seems likely he'll play. Still, this report isn't official, so fantasy owners will need to monitor his status before the 1:00 p.m. EDT kickoff just to be safe.

Williams, who is nursing a neck injury, is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though he was a full participant in practices all week, Williams' neck issue was apparently enough of a concern for the Chargers to keep him on their final injury report of the week. Based on his level of involvement this week, it still seems quite likely that Williams will suit up Sunday, but fantasy owners may want to check back on his status prior to the 1:00 p.m. EDT kickoff just to be on the safe side.
