Tim Tebow completed 18-of-39 passes for just 174 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while adding 63 yards on 10 rushing attempts in a 45-10 blowout loss to the Lions in Week 8.
Chalk one up for the skeptics and detractors. Tebow's implosion lasted the entire game this week. His elongated motion and failure to read defensive looks contributed to seven sacks, including a 24-yard TD on a Cliff Avril strip. The 46 percent on completions doesn't due justice to Tebow's inaccuracy, as wobbly passes sailed off the mark of open receivers all afternoon. With three fumbles and 100-yard pick-six to Chris Houston, Tebow was a turnover waiting to happen. The rushing yards and garbage-time TD to Eric Decker helped salvage 15 fantasy points, but another game like this will test coach John Fox's patience.

Jay Glazer reported on FOX's pregame show Sunday that coach John Fox is revamping his entire offense to more of a college-style to suit Tim Tebow's strengths.
Fox's is now going all-in on Tebow, acknowledging that the move to more of a Florida Gators look will either revolutionize the game or set it back years. As John Clayton suggested early in the week, the Broncos will put Tebow in the shotgun and "cover their eyes." Last week's game-plan wasn't tailored in the least to fit Tebow, so the change to a spread formation allowing him to succeed on his instincts and athleticism with screens, swings, downfield strikes and designed quarterback runs is great news for his fantasy value. It should boost Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker as well.

Coach John Fox confirmed Monday that Tim Tebow will remain the Broncos' starter in Week 8 against the Lions.
Tebow played so badly in the first 55 minutes of Sunday's game that it seemed he might be benched for Kyle Orton. Leading the comeback win, however, Tebow improved his job security and will continue to be a top-ten fantasy quarterback option against Detroit. Fox was typically noncommittal on Tebow's long-term role Monday, saying he "can't predict the future."

Tim Tebow completed 13-of-27 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns as the Broncos came from behind to defeat the Dolphins 18-15 in Week 7.
The icing on the cake was Tebow's 65 yards on eight scrambles, giving him 23 fantasy points in standard leagues. The Broncos' grossly conservative game plan clearly wasn't geared to Tebow's strengths. They didn't put him in position to make easy throws and rarely even used screen plays, suggesting there is a feeling that the organization doesn't want to see Tebow succeed. The Broncos were also dominated in time of possession until late in the game. Tebow led two late touchdown drives, and Matt Prater banged home the 52-yard game-winning field goal. The Broncos face a much tougher Lions defense in Week 8, but Tebow will continue to be a borderline QB1 with lots of fantasy upside because he can fill up the box score so many different ways.

The Broncos have not promised the starting quarterback job to Tim Tebow for the rest of the season, according to ESPN's Ed Werder.
It's a mild concern because the John Fox regime did not draft Tebow and hasn't shown much confidence in him before this week. Still, this is likely just "coachspeak" from Fox -- if you ask him, every job is open to competition every single week. But in reality, Tebow will get a long leash as the starter. They need to find out what they have in the former first-round pick. Tebow is our No. 8 fantasy play at quarterback today.

Tim Tebow is expected to be officially named the Broncos starter Tuesday, according to the Denver Post.
No surprise here. Since the Broncos' players were off Monday, coach John Fox will meet with them Tuesday before telling the world it's Tebow Time. We're expecting to hear from Fox this afternoon. Do not hesitate to add Tebow in all formats.

Broncos HC John Fox failed to name a starting quarterback at his Monday press conference.
"We'll communicate with the people involved and the team long before we announce (our Week 7 starter), Fox said. "That won't be happening today." It's bad news for Kyle Orton, whom Fox would have almost certainly endorsed today had he any intention of sticking with him at quarterback coming off the team's Week 6 bye. The general consensus is that Tim Tebow will be officially named the starter on Tuesday. He's worth an immediate flier in all formats.

Beat writer Mike Klis believes coach John Fox will officially name Tim Tebow his starting quarterback Tuesday.
Fox declined to commit to Tebow in his post-game press conference, but virtually all observers expect him to stick with the people's choice. Not only did Tebow spark the team yesterday, but Orton has played poor enough through five games to simply lose his job. Tebow is also the 1-4 Broncos' only quarterback under contract for 2012.

During his post-game press conference, coach John Fox declined to commit to a starting quarterback going forward.
Fox doesn't make rash decisions and very few NFL coaches would name a Week 7 starter in the minutes following a Week 5 loss. "Tim Tebow sparked the team today. (But) we haven't had a chance to watch the tape. ... So, I think at this point -- we have a bye week -- we do need to improve offensively, and it will all be up for discussion," Fox said. Tebow was a difference-maker Sunday, nearly leading the Broncos back from the dead. We'd be absolutely stunned if it isn't Tebow time going forward.
