Tarvaris Jackson (pectoral) was limited in Seahawks practice Wednesday. Just like last week, T-Jack will likely be limited each day this week before starting on Sunday. "We're not out of the woods on this thing yet," conceded coach Pete Carroll. "But he's managing it as well as it could possibly be managed and his attitude is great about it." Jackson will continue to be a low-end QB2 against the Ravens in Week 10.

Tarvaris Jackson completed 17-of-30 passes for 221 yards and three interceptions against the Cowboys in Week 9. Jackson couldn't move the offense until the second half, once the Cowboys had established a two-score lead. His trio of interceptions led to a 40.4 passer rating. Though he's averaging a respectable 257 yards per game over the past month, T-Jack belongs on fantasy benches against the Ravens in Week 10.

Tarvaris Jackson (pectoral) is active and will start against the Cowboys, as expected. Sidney Rice (foot), Big Mike Williams (hamstring) and DT Alan Branch (knee/hip) are also active for Seattle. Rice and slot receiver Doug Baldwin are the only viable fantasy plays this week. Seahawks inactives: QB Josh Portis, WR Kris Durham, TE Cameron Morrah, T Jarriel King, DT Al Woods, CB Ron Parker and S Jeron Johnson.

Tarvaris Jackson (probable, pectoral) is expected to start Sunday's game against Dallas, but coach Pete Carroll acknowledged Friday that Jackson still isn't 100 percent. "He does not feel great," Carroll said. "He's barely making it through practice, but he did. He did make it through." Rotoworld ranks T-Jack as the No. 20 overall fantasy quarterback play for Week 9. He's a two-QB league option.

Coach Pete Carroll believes Tarvaris Jackson can be Seattle's quarterback of the future. Carroll is using the opportunity to give his quarterback a public vote of confidence now that the Seahawks' passing game is showing signs of tangible progress. The Seahawks are still expected to be one of the franchises on the look-out for a first-round quarterback come next year's draft.

Tarvaris Jackson (pectoral) was a full participant in Seahawks practice Wednesday. After coming out of Sunday's loss unscathed, Jackson is close to a lock to be under center against the Cowboys barring a setback. Jackson has thrown for over 300 yards in both of the past two games he was able to stay on the field, and is emerging as a legitimate QB2/bye week fill-in.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll confirmed Monday that he's approaching this week as if Tarvaris Jackson will start Sunday at Dallas. Jackson showed that he could put zip on the football while playing off the bench in Week 8, and is near to or all the way back from his right pectoral strain. Charlie Whitehurst will go back to the bench, assuming no setbacks for Jackson. Through six games, Jackson has six touchdowns compared to six interceptions. He's averaging 223 passing yards per week.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said after Sunday's game that he hoped to not play Tarvaris Jackson against the Bengals. "I was hoping to see that we could rest him another week," Carroll said. "I was hoping to do that." The Seahawks ultimately pulled Charlie Whitehurst because he was ineffective. "It just didn't feel like we were moving anywhere," Carroll said. "So what I said to the fellas was, 'Let's put Tarvaris in, let's see what happens.'" After coming off the bench to throw for a career-high 323 yards, Jackson will likely start in Week 9.

Tarvaris Jackson completed 21-of-40 passes for 323 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's loss to the Bengals. Jackson was reportedly not expecting to play even though the Seahawks announced him as a starter. But once Charlie Whitehurst scuffled on the first two drives, Jackson got the call to start the second quarter and immediately gave the team a spark. His pectoral looked perfectly fine as he showed plenty of power on a 55-yard bomb to Ben Obomanu in the second half. Jackson will be a QB2 option against the Cowboys next week. He'll get plenty of attempts as the Seahawks' running game is inept.
