Tarvaris Jackson now believes that the pectoral injury he has been playing through will not require post-season surgery.

Tarvaris Jackson completed 15-of-28 passes for 163 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 19-7 loss to the 49ers. Jackson threw his 13th touchdown pass of the season on a 13-yard strike to Doug Baldwin in the first quarter that capped off a seven-play, 80-yard scoring drive. Of his 15 completions, eight were to different receivers and he finished with completion percentage of 54 percent. In 12 starts this season, he's yet to produce at a level that would guarantee him anything other than a backup job in 2012.

Tarvaris Jackson completed 19-of-31 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown as the Seahawks defeated the Bears in Week 15. Jackson reverted to his usual game-manager role as the Bears single-handedly lost this game themselves. He did lose one fumble, but otherwise maintained possession and made a few big throws to Ben Obomanu and Golden Tate when he had to. Expect T-Jack to resume struggling against the 49ers' defense in Week 16.

Tarvaris Jackson completed 21-of-32 passes for 224 yards and a touchdown in Seattle's Week 14 win over the Rams. Jackson was lucky he was facing the Rams, as he got away with a number of amateurish mistakes against the NFC's worst team. He fouled up several snaps and hand-offs, and routinely held onto the ball too long. When T-Jack did throw, he was usually able to find wide-open receivers against a secondary full of street free agents. With so many teams in need of an upgrade at quarterback, Jackson might get one more year under center in Seattle, but he's clearly not the answer for a team that's appeared little more than a legitimate quarterback away from contention.

Tarvaris Jackson says his arm strength is finally all the way back from his previously strained pectoral. "It's getting better and better each day," he said. "... It feels good to have my arm strength back." Jackson is still a game manager in Seattle's Marshawn Lynch-heavy offense, but it's good news for Golden Tate that the Seahawks may be able to get something going off play-action with T-Jax back close to full health. Jackson has also resumed practicing without limitations.

Tarvaris Jackson completed 13-of-16 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles in Week 13. Jackson was guilty of holding the ball too long on three sacks, but his 137.0 passer rating is evidence of his efficiency in a run-dominant attack. He showed nice touch all night, highlighted by an 11-yard touchdown to Golden Tate in the back of the end zone. Jackson has a friendly matchup against the Rams in Week 14, but the Seahawks figure to ride Marshawn Lynch's hot hand once again.

Tarvaris Jackson (pectoral) has resumed practicing in full for Week 13. Jackson is a candidate for offseason surgery, but it's a good sign for his arm strength that he's no longer limited early in the week. With Sidney Rice (concussion) out of the lineup, Jackson isn't an attractive QB2 option even in a fantasy friendly matchup against the Eagles Thursday night.

Tarvaris Jackson (pectoral, probable) practiced in full on both Thursday and Friday and will start in Week 12. He'll square off with a Redskins defense that has defended the pass well all season and also is tied for the league lead in sacks. With a 1:6 TD-to-INT ratio across his last four games, T-Jack will be a very low-end QB2 on Sunday.

Tarvaris Jackson (pectorals) was limited in Seahawks practice Wednesday. Jackson didn't throw today, so he essentially sat out. He will be under center against the Redskins, but averaging just 195.3 yards to go along with a TD:INT ratio of 1:5 over his past three starts, he'll be a poor fantasy option in two-QB leagues.

Tarvaris Jackson completed 14-of-24 passes for 148 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's win over the Rams. Jackson's picks came on his first two throws of the day, but he was able to settle down and help game-manage the Seahawks past a truly dreadful Rams team. He completed just one pass longer than 16 yards. Seattle's longest completion of the day came from receiver Sidney Rice, who found Mike Williams for a 55-yard gain on a trick play. Over his past three starts, Jackson has thrown for just one score while being picked five times, and is averaging only 195.3 yards. He's an emergency option in two-QB leagues.
