Smith (ankle) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Smith was a long shot to go Sunday due to a "doubtful" designation, and the morning's inactive report will make it official. While the veteran nurses the ailment, look for Mike Wallace (chest) to be a primary option for Joe Flacco, with Breshad Perriman and Kamar Aiken in line to see extra targets.

Smith (ankle) is unlikely to play Sunday against the Giants, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
EDGE Analysis
The news isn't overly surprising, as Smith was officially listed as doubtful after failing to practice this week. His absence will likely open up more targets for Mike Wallace, who will play through a chest injury, Kamar Aiken and Breshad Perriman.

WR FA
Smith (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Smith didn't practice all week and was never expected to play, leaving Mike Wallace (chest) as the likely No. 1 wide receiver, with Kamar Aiken and Breshad Perriman in line for expanded roles. Targets will be there for the taking, but it won't necessarily translate into production, as the injury-marred Baltimore offense has struggled even when healthy. Starting LT Ronnie Stanley (foot) and standout RG Marshal Yanda (shoulder) are also listed as doubtful for Sunday, with starting RT Rick Wagner (thigh) questionable. Smith, meanwhile, will turn his attention to Week 7 against the Jets.

Smith (ankle) is not practicing Friday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Absent from practice for a third straight day, Smith is a long shot to play in Sunday's game against the Giants. His likely absence should lead to more snaps for Breshad Perriman and Kamar Aiken, though Mike Wallace and TE Dennis Pitta may end up absorbing a good portion of Smith's usual target volume. Another update will be available Friday afternoon when the Ravens release their final injury report.

Smith (ankle) did not practice Thursday for the second day in a row, according to Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun.
EDGE Analysis
Smith will have one more day to get on the practice field this week, but a second straight day on the sidelines does not bode well for his chances of playing in Sunday's matchup with the Giants.

Smith (ankle) did not take part in Wednesday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Ravens have not updated Smith's status since he was forced from Sunday's game by his ankle injury, but it appears he is still banged up to the point where he is unable to get on the practice field. Smith will have a couple more opportunities to practice before the Ravens' next game Sunday against the Giants, but if he is unable to go, that would open up opportunities for Kamar Aiken and Breshad Perriman.

Smith was forced out of Sunday's game against Washington with ankle ankle injury.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to his exit from the contest, Smith caught all three of his targets for 29 yards. In his absence Sunday, the Ravens' wideout corps will feature Mike Wallace, Breshad Perriman and Kamar Aiken.

Smith hauled in eight of 11 targets for the second straight week Sunday, this time managing 111 yards and a touchdown in a 28-27 loss to the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Smith has reestablished himself as quarterback Joe Flacco's favorite target over the past two weeks. The 37-year-old wide receiver showed that he still has excellent speed on a 52-yard touchdown, blowing by the Raiders defense for his first score of 2016. With Mike Wallace slowing down after a hot start, Smith is clearly the Ravens receiver to own.

Smith led the Ravens with 11 targets, eight catches and 87 receiving yards in Sunday's 19-17 win over the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
The Ravens' passing attack struggled Sunday, as Smith was the only player north of 42 yards receiving, but they were able to piece together a winning field-goal drive with just under two minutes remaining. Smith has improved with each passing week after rushing back from injury to be ready for the season opener, as Sunday's outputs marked season-highs in targets, catches and yardage. He may not be asked to run deep as much this season after the acquisition of Mike Wallace and the return of Breshad Perriman, but Smith clearly still has the attention of Joe Flacco and could be a valuable asset as a possession receiver. Week 4 will see Baltimore host the Raiders.

WR FA
Smith hauled in 3 catches (on six targets) for 64 yards in Sunday's win over the Browns.
EDGE Analysis
The Ravens really spread the ball around Sunday, with Joe Flacco completing passes to nine different receivers. Such seems to be the theme for Baltimore's offense this year, and even though Smith did receive six targets Sunday, it will be hard to trust any one Ravens' pass-catcher as long as opportunities are so few and far between. It will take a string of strong performances before Smith can be mentioned in the WR3 category in standard leagues.
