Smith (ankle) did not practice Thursday, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
While the Ravens' official site suggests that there's still a chance Smith returns to action this week, the veteran wideout's second straight absence from practice would seem to dim that hope. Unless Smith returns to the field Friday, and looks good in doing so, he's trending toward another missed game. In such a scenario, Kamar Aiken and Breshad Perriman are candidates to see added looks Sunday against the Steelers behind the team's most productive wideout to date, Mike Wallace.

Smith (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Smith, who has not played since injuring his ankle against Washington on Oct. 9, will thus need to be monitored as Sunday's game against the Steelers approaches. If Smith remains out or limited this weekend, Kamar Aiken and Breshad Perriman are candidates to see added looks in the Ravens' Week 9 passing offense behind Mike Wallace, who leads the team's wideouts with 35 catches.

Smith (ankle) was not spotted at the early portion of Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Smith's absence is notable considering that the Ravens were on bye last week, though the veteran wideout's outlook for Sunday's game against the Steelers would obviously brighten if he is able to return to practice, in any capacity, Thursday.

Smith (ankle) was not on the practice field for the team's final session before their bye week, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Smith continues to nurse an ankle injury that has held him out of back-to-back games, but the team remains optimistic the veteran can return after the bye week. Fantasy owners shouldn't look too far in to Smith's absence Wednesday, as 11 players sat out Wednesday's session, several of which were presumed healthy.

Smith (ankle) may be available when the Ravens return from a Week 8 bye, ESPN's Jamison Hensley reports.
EDGE Analysis
Smith missed the past two games, leaving Mike Wallace as the No. 1 receiver, with Breshad Perriman and Kamar Aiken also taking on expanded roles. Wallace took full advantage to the tune of 217 receiving yards over the past two weeks, but a struggling Joe Flacco clearly still would've benefited from Smith's presence in the short passing game. The Ravens will face the Steelers in Week 9, coming out of a badly-needed bye week.

Smith (ankle) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Jets in New York.
EDGE Analysis
Smith will miss the Ravens' tour of New York due to an undisclosed ankle injury. Expect Mike Wallace and Breshad Perriman to receive a plurality of targets yet again.

Smith (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
For a second straight week, Smith didn't participate in practice and will be listed as doubtful for Sunday's game. With no indication he has any shot to play, the Ravens will need added contributions from Mike Wallace, Breshad Perriman and Kamar Aiken (thigh) against a vulnerable Jets secondary. QB Joe Flacco (shoulder) is listed as questionable, creating additional concerns in regard to the Baltimore passing game.

Smith (ankle) did not participate in Friday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Just like last week, Smith was unable to get on the practice field for any of the Ravens' three official sessions. He was listed as doubtful on the team's final injury report for Week 6, and appears headed in a similar direction this week.

Smith (ankle) did not practice Thursday, the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
More on Smith's status no later than Friday, but unless he returns to practice in some capacity, it's not hard to imagine the Ravens playing it safe with the veteran wideout this weekend against the Jets, considering that the team has its bye in Week 8.

Smith (ankle) is not taking part in Wednesday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Smith sat out last week's game against the Giants due to his ankle injury, and the setback remains an issue heading into Week 7. Smith will have a couple more days to get on the practice field this week, but the Ravens have a bye in Week 8, so the team could opt to give Smith extra time to get back to 100 percent even if he does show improvement over the next couple days.
