DeValve caught four of six targets for a team-high 70 yards during Sunday's 38-24 loss to the Lions. He also lost a fumble.
EDGE Analysis
Aside from losing a fumble that was returned for a touchdown, DeValve finished with his strongest game of the season. His 70 receiving yards marked a career-high, as he and DeShone Kizer seemed to have a strong rapport throughout Sunday's outing, including connecting a 35-yard gain pass and catch late in the third quarter. DeValve has been earning more snaps than rookie tight end David Njoku, and that should continue with more performances like this.

DeValve caught one of three targets for no yards in Sunday's 33-16 loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Despite not starting Sunday's game, DeValve ended up with more offensive snaps than David Njoku. Whether he's technically atop the depth chart or No. 2, it's been tough sledding in Cleveland's quarterback carousel. On one hand, DeValve has caught multiple passes in six of eight games. On the other, the second-year tight end has not topped 30 yards in six weeks and has scored just once in that span.

DeValve snagged two of four targets for 27 yards during Sunday's 12-9 overtime loss to the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
If there's anything to be said about DeValve's season, it's that he's maintained consistency week in and week out. The 24-year-old's two-catch performance Sunday was his sixth contest in which he's had at least two receptions, and now has 16 on the year for 194 yards and a touchdown.

DeValve (shoulder) wasn't included on the Browns' injury report following Wednesday's practice, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
DeValve reportedly received treatment on his shoulder following Sunday's loss to the Texans, but after two full days off to recover from the issue, the Browns aren't concerned about his availability heading into the Week 7 matchup with the Titans. Though he hasn't started a game this season, DeValve has managed to turn in more fantasy value than multiple starters around the league due to his standing as a safety valve for young quarterbacks DeShone Kizer and Kevin Hogan. He's reeled in 14 of 25 targets for 167 yards and a touchdown in six contests.

DeValve, who brought in two of three targets for nine yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-17 loss to the Texans, received treatment for a shoulder injury after the game, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year tight end also had the bandaged shoulder wrapped in ice in the post-game locker room as per Cabot, likely sending him into Week 7 prep with a questionable designation. DeValve has logged at least a pair of receptions in five of six contests this season, but he hadn't gotten into the end zone until bringing in a three-yard scoring grab with 46 seconds remaining on Sunday.

DeValve hauled in three of four targets for 24 yards during Sunday's 17-14 loss to the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Though fellow tight end David Njoku scored his third touchdown of the season on Sunday, it's still worth mentioning that DeShone Kizer targeted DeValve in the red zone, even though the two were unable to connect as the pass was picked off. DeValve now has five red zone targets in 2017, but continues to lose out on opportunities due to Njoku's emergence.

DeValve secured two of five targets for 29 yards during Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Even though DeValve was on the field more often than David Njoku on Sunday, it was the rookie tight end who finished with the better day. DeValve finished with just one more target while Njoku found the end zone for the second consecutive week. If there's a silver lining here, it's that DeValve is still garnering targets. He's fourth on the team with 14 and is second in receiving yards with 132. But until he starts scoring touchdowns, his fantasy value is almost non-existent.

DeValve secured two receptions (four targets) for 61 yards during Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
Most of DeValve's yards came when Kevin Hogan found him wide open down the right side for a 49-yard gain in the second quarter on a drive that eventually resulted in Cleveland's only touchdown of the day. Unlike in Week 1, however, DeValve saw fewer snaps than rookie David Njoku, although the two finished with the same number of targets. The Princeton product has accumulated six receptions on nine targets for 103 yards during the first two weeks, which is just 24 yards short of his 2016 total. He's fourth on the team in targets and could see more with Corey Coleman (hand) out indefinitely.

DeValve secured four of his five targets for 42 yards against the Steelers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Though listed on the depth chart as the team's backup tight end, DeValve led Randall Telfer and rookie David Njoku in snaps with 31 and finished second only to Corey Coleman in both targets and receiving yards versus the Steelers. According to Mike Clay of ESPN.com, DeValve also ran six more routes than Njoku, making it clear that the second-year pro is Cleveland's top pass-catching tight end to begin the season. His role may change as Njoku gets more acclimated with the NFL, but DeValve may end up being a sneaky good play in deep PPR leagues.

DeValve caught all four his targets for 57 yards during Saturday's preseason matchup versus the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
DeValve made a strong case for the No. 1 tight end job Saturday, finishing with his best performance of the preseason thus far, which included a 30-yard pass from Kevin Hogan that ultimately set up Cleveland's only touchdown of the night. As of the last unofficial depth chart, DeValve was still behind Randall Telfer, but that could change with another quality performance during the preseason finale on Thursday.
