Seth DeValve
TE FA
Wed 8/10/16 11:49 AM

DeValve was removed from the PUP list Wednesday and will be eligible to practice, Andrew Gribble of ClevelandBrowns.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
DeValve has been nursing a minor hamstring injury since late July, but the rookie tight end will see his first action of an NFL training camp this week. He has an uphill battle ahead of him in terms of making the roster, while Gary Barnidge (abdomen) and Telfer (knee) figure to be the top two options at the position.

DeValve has been placed on the active/PUP list.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie tight end will begin his first training camp on the sidelines as he nurses a hamstring injury. The timetable for the injury is still unknown.

The Browns selected Devalve in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, 138th overall.
EDGE Analysis
This looks like a bit of a reach. Devalve is an h-back tweener at under 6-foot-3, 244 pounds, and he wasn't a standout producer at Princeton. Devalve did show rare explosiveness by logging a 40-inch vertical, but the Browns could have had bigger, similarly athletic, and more productive tight ends like Jerell Adams, Ben Braunecker, Beau Sandland or Temarrick Hemingway.
