Fitzpatrick completed 21 of 33 pass attempts for 169 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in the team's Week 10 victory over the Colts. However, he did add four rushes for 23 yards and a score.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzpatrick struggled to produce through the air, averaging just 5.1 yards per attempt. However, he also converted the team's only touchdown of the game on an 11-yard scamper just before halftime. Of note, Fitzpatrick was also briefly held out of the game late in the fourth quarter while being evaluated for a concussion, but was able to return to the contest, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports. Though it wasn't in particularly convincing fashion, Fitzpatrick has now led the Dolphins to consecutive victories, and should remain under center as the team heads into a Week 11 matchup against the Bills.

Fitzpatrick completed 24 of 36 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 26-18 win over the Jets. He added two yards on five rushing attempts.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzpatrick completed perhaps the easiest touchdown pass of his career from 12 yards out to a wide open Preston Williams in the second quarter. He added two more passing scores before halftime, finding DeVante Parker from 17 yards out and Williams again from five. The veteran quarterback was also brought down in the end zone for a safety in the final minute of the first half, but his play in the second quarter up until that point was enough to earn his team its first win of 2019. Not only was Fitzpatrick turnover-free, but his 288 passing yards marked a season high. This will likely go down as the high point of Fitzpatrick's 2019 campaign.

Fitzpatrick will remain the Dolphins' starting quarterback Week 9 against the Jets, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzpatrick struggled to move the offense after the first quarter of Monday's loss to the Steelers, but he'll nonetheless hold on to the reigns for at least one more contest. Over his last two starts, Fitzpatrick has compiled a meager 3:3 TD:INT and has fumbled four times, losing one of them. The veteran is set for a favorable matchup in Week 9, putting him under consideration in leagues that start two quarterbacks or utilize a QB flex spot. Even if Fitzpatrick shows improved form in his outings to come, it wouldn't be a surprise if the winless Dolphins eventually turn back to second-year signal-caller Josh Rosen later in the season.

Fitzpatrick completed 21 of 34 passes for 190 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions during Monday's 27-14 loss to the Steelers. He also had two fumbles, one of which he recovered.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzpatrick also ran the ball four times for 11 yards and was sacked four times. The veteran quarterback led the Dolphins to an early first quarter lead, connecting with Allen Hurns and Albert Wilson for scores, but Miami's offense struggled to make anything happen after that point. The winless Dolphins unit didn't manage to score during the game's final three quarters, or even march into field-goal territory. With just over one minute remaining in the contest, Fitzpatrick narrowly avoided fumbling a tipped ball, then closed the game out with an unfortunate sack while attempting to scramble on the next play. If Fitzpatrick retains the starting job Week 9, he'll benefit from a more favorable matchup against the Jets' struggling defense.

Fitzpatrick completed 23 of 35 passes for 282 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Dolphins' 31-21 loss to the Bills on Sunday. He also rushed six times for 13 yards and another score and committed two fumbles but lost neither.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzpatrick was back in a stadium where he threw for 71 touchdowns between the 2010 and 2012 seasons, and he seemed to recapture some of that same magic on an afternoon when the winless Dolphins put a legitimate scare into the Bills. Fitzpatrick hit DeVante Parker for his one touchdown pass, which came from 12 yards out in the latter portion of the second quarter. The veteran quarterback then brought the Miami sidelines to life by capping off an 11-play, 60-yard fourth-quarter drive with a gutsy 11-yard scoring scramble that he finished by lowering his shoulder to get into the end zone. Fitzpatrick was reinstated as the starter mid-week after coach Brian Flores backtracked from an earlier statement that Josh Rosen would keep the top job, and given Fitzpatrick's performance Sunday, he's certainly poised to helm the passing attack again in a Week 8 Monday night matchup versus the Steelers.

The Dolphins named Fitzpatrick their starting quarterback for Sunday's game in Buffalo, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Brian Flores apparently changed his mind at some point this week, having previously said he would stick with Josh Rosen as the starter even after the second-year pro was replaced (and outplayed) by Fitzpatrick in the Week 6 loss to Washington. The Week 7 matchup couldn't get much worse, with the Dolphins traveling to Buffalo to face a Bills defense that ranks second in the league at 5.5 yards allowed per pass attempt. Opposing quarterbacks have thrown three touchdowns and five interceptions in five games against the Bills.

Fitzpatrick replaced Josh Rosen (coach's decision) during Sunday's 17-16 loss, completing 12 of 18 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown while adding five yards on two carries. Head coach Brian Flores said after the game that Rosen will remain the starter, Armando Salguero of The Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzpatrick came in early in the fourth quarter and led Miami's only two touchdown drives during his four series, capping off the fourth with an 11-yard touchdown pass to DeVante Parker that the veteran passer whipped in during the game's final seconds. The Dolphins went for the win on the next play, but Fitzpatrick was unable to connect with Kenyan Drake. Despite Sunday's near-heroics, Fitzpatrick has put up poor numbers this season and it'd make little sense to start him ahead of Rosen on a team that is playing for 2020. If he's forced into relief again in Week 7, it'll be against a very stingy Buffalo defense.

Fitzpatrick is entering Sunday's game against the Redskins in the fourth quarter, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzpatrick replaced Rosen under center with the Dolphins down 17-3, and he'll work to get the team's aerial attack going for the first time all game. Before being relieved by Fitzpatrick, Rosen had 15 completed passes for 85 yards and two interceptions. The second-year pro had also been sacked five times.

Fitzpatrick will serve as the backup to Josh Rosen during Sunday's tilt against the Cowboys, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzpatrick's leash in Miami appears to have run out after two consecutive blowout losses. The team is instead opting to see how second-year pro Josh Rosen is able to command the offense Week 3. Considering that the Dolphins appear to be focusing on the future and intent on evaluating the potential of their younger players, it's possible that the 36-year-old Fitzpatrick could remain relegated to backup duties going forward even if Rosen struggles.

Fitzpatrick split starting snaps with Josh Rosen during Thursday's practice, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzpatrick remains the starter "right now" according to coach Brian Flores, but it's worth noting that he's no longer receiving the lion's share of starting snaps, as he did during last week's practices. The 36-year-old veteran has been pulled from action in each of Miami's contests this season, allowing Rosen to enter both games during the fourth quarter. Rosen is assured to start at some point this season, but the Dolphins could opt to make a switch under center sooner rather than later if Fitzpatrick struggles in Dallas on Sunday.
