Fitzpatrick completed 31 of 52 passes for 419 yards with four touchdowns and one interception in the Dolphins' 38-35 overtime win against the Bengals on Sunday. He also rushed five times for nine yards.

EDGE Analysis

Fitzpatrick continued his late-season tear with a spectacular showing against one of the most vulnerable defenses in the league, hitting DeVante Parker, Mike Gesicki (twice) and Christian Wilkins on a tackle-eligible play for his touchdowns. Fitzpatrick then led a game-winning march in overtime, one in which he had a pair of key completions to Isaiah Ford to get Miami into field-goal range. Fitzpatrick has now eclipsed the 300-yard mark in three of his last six games, and his 19 touchdown throws are his highest since 2015. He'll look to put a strong finish on a resurgent season in a Week 17 battle against the Patriots.

Fitzpatrick completed 23 of 41 passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 36-20 loss to the Giants. He added four carries for 33 yards and lost a fumble.

EDGE Analysis

Fitzpatrick heated up in the second quarter, capping a string of seven consecutive completions with a 20-yard touchdown to DeVante Parker to open the scoring. He cooled right back down after that, however, failing to notch another touchdown until he found Parker again for a 29-yard score with less than two minutes remaining in the game. The veteran quarterback also remarkably took over as Miami's leading rusher for the season with 219 yards, as he's done his fair share of scrambling while the Dolphins haven't been able to settle on a lead option at the running back position. Coach Brian Flores confirmed after the game that Fitzpatrick will remain the starter when the Dolphins host the Bengals in Week 16.

Coach Brian Flores said Fitzpatrick will continue to be the starting quarterback for the Dolphins' Week 15 road game against the Giants, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

EDGE Analysis

Miami's failure to get into the end zone and instead settle for seven field goals ultimately doomed the team in Sunday's one-point loss to the Jets. Fitzpatrick himself completed 21 of 37 passes for 245 yards and one interception, leaving him with a 13:12 TD:INT in 12 appearances this season. He may have an easier time getting back on the TD ledger this coming weekend versus a Giants defense that entered Week 14 having allowed 22 touchdown passes to quarterbacks in 12 contests in 2019.

Fitzpatrick completed 21 of 37 passes for 245 yards and an interception while adding 65 rushing yards on seven carries in Sunday's 22-21 loss to the Jets.

EDGE Analysis

Fitzpatrick moved the offense well but couldn't convert in close, leading to eight field-goal attempts and seven makes for kicker Jason Sanders. Those who started the veteran signal-caller enjoyed a season-high rushing performance from Fitzpatrick, but his TD:INT this season is an unenviable 13:12.

Fitzpatrick completed 27 of 39 pass attempts for 365 yards, while throwing three touchdowns and one interception during Sunday's 37-31 win against Philadelphia.

EDGE Analysis

It was shaky in the early going for Fitzpatrick, as he threw an interception to Ronald Darby on Miami's first play from scrimmage and he absorbed two sacks within the Dolphins' first three offensive drives. He settled in with a 43-yard strike to DeVante Parker on Miami's fourth possession and threw two more TDs in the second half after the Dolphins fell into a 28-14 third-quarter deficit. Fitzpatrick has thrown to a 8:4 TD:INT with 272 passing yards per game since Week 9, while leading his team to a 3-2 record during that span. He's highly unpredictable due to his propensity to commit turnovers in bundles, but Fitzpatrick carries upside heading into a Week 14 matchup against a Jets defense that he lit up for 288 yards and three passing scores Nov. 3.

Coach Brian Flores said Wednesday when asked about Fitzpatrick's shoulder injury that the veteran quarterback is "fighting through it in practice and games, so he'll be out there," Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

EDGE Analysis

Fitzpatrick has been battling shoulder discomfort for three weeks now, but he hasn't missed any time and managed to practice in full Wednesday. The veteran quarterback is again practicing Thursday, and he'll start against the Eagles on Sunday barring any unforeseen setbacks. Fitzpatrick boasts a physical game -- he's rushed 30 times for 119 yards and three touchdowns this season -- and at age 37, getting nicked up may simply be a necessary consequence of that playing style.

Fitzpatrick completed 21 of 39 passes for 214 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Dolphins' 41-24 loss to the Browns on Sunday. He also rushed five times for 45 yards and another score and committed one fumble but recovered.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran signal-caller celebrated his 37th birthday with a few highlights that were interspersed with a pair of turnovers against an aggressive Browns defense. Fitzpatrick connected with Mike Gesicki and Allen Hurns for his pair of passing scores, but with Miami down by four touchdowns before it was able to get into the end zone, Fitzpatrick frequently faced plenty of crowded secondaries that were keyed in on defending the pass. Fitzpatrick clearly continues to give the Dolphins a fighting chance with his play on most weeks, and he'll look to help deliver the team's third win in a Week 13 battle against the Eagles.

Fitzpatrick (shoulder/forearm) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's tilt against the Browns, Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post reports.

EDGE Analysis

Fitzpatrick kicked off the week with back-to-back limited practices, but he looks back to full health after participating without restrictions during Friday's session. As expected, the 36-year-old veteran is set to start under center during Sunday's contest against the Browns. Fitzpatrick has gone two straight games without a passing touchdown, and he'll look to break that streak against a top-10 pass defense in Cleveland.

Fitzpatrick (shoulder/forearm) took part in Friday's practice, Safid Deen of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

EDGE Analysis

Fitzpatrick was limited at practice the last couple days, and he may be Friday as well. However, with him getting in at least some work at all three of the Dolphins' practice sessions this week, it's looking likely he will be able to give it a go Sunday against the Browns.

Fitzpatrick (shoulder/forearm) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Safid Deen of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

EDGE Analysis

Fitzpatrick has now logged back-to-back limited practice sessions to kick off Week 12. The veteran signal-caller still appears on track to start under center in Cleveland on Sunday, but if he manages to practice without limitations during Friday's final session of the week it would alleviate any concerns. Given that Fitzpatrick's forearm and shoulder injuries are both related to his right throwing arm, his health will be worth keeping a close eye on.
