Reggie Wayne was held to five catches for 55 yards in Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Wayne was a complete non-factor for the Colts and finished third in targets behind Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie. Coming off his best game of the season, he vastly underperformed in what appeared to be a favorable matchup. At this point, he's closer to being waiver material than he is fantasy relevant.

Reggie Wayne said it's "50-50" if he'll be back with the Colts in 2012.
Wayne, who turned 33 earlier this month, will be a free agent after this season. "I'm not going to make it easy on them," he said. Although Wayne has obviously been crippled by Peyton Manning's injury, his separation skills are rapidly eroding as well. If he plays hardball, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Colts let him walk.

Reggie Wayne caught five passes for 122 yards with a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Panthers.
Credit the Panthers' embarrassing tackling for Wayne's breakout. On his 56-yard score in the fourth quarter, Wayne spun out of two tackles and hopped through another on his way to the end zone. He also avoided the coverage of Chris Gamble for most of the day. Wayne gets another tasty matchup against the Patriots next week, but we would get him back on benches after that.

Reggie Wayne was held to 30 yards on four receptions against the Falcons in Week 9.
Wayne and Pierre Garcon shared the team lead with six targets, but neither player could survive Curtis Painter's struggles. Averaging just 57 yards per game, Wayne isn't even a recommended WR3 option against the Jaguars in Week 10.

Reggie Wayne caught five passes for 61 yards in the Colts' Week 8 loss to Tennessee.
He was targeted 14 times, although the attempt numbers were inflated by a hurry-up second-half offense after Indianapolis fell behind by two scores. Wayne hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 1 while being overtaken as the Colts' No. 1 receiver in favor of Pierre Garcon. He'll be a weak WR3 against the Falcons in Week 9.

Reggie Wayne had three receptions for 36 yards in the Colts' Week 7 loss to the Saints.
Following a seven-catch, 106-yard Week 1 outing in which he scored a touchdown, Wayne has averaged 3.8 receptions for 53.3 yards without any scores including tonight's result. With a name that is much larger than his game, owners should try to offload him if he can ever put together a good outing. Wayne is a WR4 until he proves otherwise.

Reggie Wayne caught five passes for 58 yards in Sunday's loss to the Bengals.
Wayne was held in check by Leon Hall all day long, but that isn't the biggest concern. Curtis Painter and Pierre Garcon have something special going on as Garcon was targeted 11 times compared to just six for Wayne. The bubble screens and quick outs that the Colts used to call for Wayne are now going Garcon's way. In his last five games, Wayne is averaging just 4.0 catches for 56.8 yards with no touchdowns.

Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeted Saturday he's not planning to trade Reggie Wayne or DE Robert Mathis ahead of Tuesday's deadline.
Both players are in their walk years, but Irsay isn't planning a sell-off despite the Colts' lost season. Long desirous of a new contract, Wayne is extremely unlikely to return to the Colts for below market value next offseason.

Reggie Wayne caught four passes for 77 yards in Week 5.
Wayne has eight catches for 136 yards without a touchdown since Curtis Painter took over. We still like Wayne better long-term than Pierre Garcon, but Garcon is hogging all of the touchdowns and a big chunk of the targets so far. Consider Wayne a mediocre WR3 option in Week 6 against Leon Hall and the Bengals.

Reggie Wayne posted just four catches for 59 yards in the Colts' loss to the Bucs on Monday Night Football.
On pace to have 72 catches for 1,060 yards and four touchdowns, it should be considered a win if he meets any of those marks. The next time he turns in a big game, owners would be wise to start shopping him.
