Saints WR Lance Moore is active for Week 3 against the Texans. Moore is an intriguing WR3 sleeper play in a projected shootout. He resumed practicing fully this past week and should be close to 100 percent. The Saints' inactives are MLB Jonathan Vilma, K Garrett Hartley, WR Marques Colston, CB Tracy Porter, DL Tom Johnson, DE Jeff Charleston, and C Matt Tennant.

Lance Moore (groin) has resumed practicing fully. Moore took the field for only a third of the Saints' offensive snaps in Week 2, but did not suffer a setback with his troublesome groin. He should be in for a more substantial role against the Texans, and will be a decent play as a WR3.

Lance Moore played just 22-of-67 offensive snaps in Sunday's win over the Bears. The Saints were clearly easing Moore back in off his groin injury. Robert Meachem was the main receiver in all single-wide sets, playing 59 snaps and Devery Henderson played 39. We should also note that the Saints uncharacteristically went with three wideouts on just 20-of-67 plays as they sat on a big lead. Look for Moore's role to gradually rise.

Lance Moore caught just one pass for six yards in the Saints' Week 2 win over the Bears. Moore didn't see a ton of snaps because he's still working his way back from a groin injury. He should be more active and more productive in Week 3 against the Texans.

Lance Moore (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the Bears. Moore put in three "limited" practices this week without suffering a setback. While the risk of in-game injury is real, the Bears' Tampa-2 defense often forces passes underneath. That bodes well for Moore, who should see extra targets with Marques Colston out. Consider Moore a WR3.

Lance Moore (questionable, groin) was limited in Saints practice Friday. We would have preferred a "full" practice on Friday, but Moore still seems likely to play against the Bears. Fighting through a balky groin that has already led to one setback, Moore is going to be a risky WR3 option on Sunday.

Coach Sean Payton is optimistic that Lance Moore (groin) will play this week. Moore's ability to practice two days in a row without setback is a positive sign. We'll be even confident in using him as a fantasy WR3 against the Bears if he can graduate to a full practice Friday. If Moore does play, the risk involved with playing Devery Henderson goes up substantially.

Lance Moore (groin) was limited again in Thursday's practice. The good news is that there was no setback after Moore "appeared to be running fluidly" in Wednesday's practice. If he can graduate to a full practice Friday, Moore would be a safe WR3 against the Bears. If he's limited again, he's be more of a high-risk play.

In his return to practice Wednesday, Lance Moore (groin) reportedly "appeared to be running fluidly" and ran "crisp" routes on the field. Moore says his Week 2 status will come down to his ability to bounce back the next day after Wednesday's strenuous work. "We don't want this one-week injury turning into a four-, five- or even six-week injury," said Moore. "So we're going to kind of see how my body reacts." It will be promising if Moore returns to practice Thursday. A "full" practice would bode especially well.

Lance Moore (groin) was limited in Saints practice Wednesday. It's a step up from last week, but far from conformation that Moore will be making his season debut in Week 2. The Saints square off with Chicago on Sunday.
