Lance Moore (hamstring) was held out of practice again on Thursday. Moore was optimistic yesterday that he'd be able to play against the 49ers, but the Saturday game date is working against him. Unless he makes it through Friday's practice, he's going to miss another game.

Despite missing practice, Lance Moore (hamstring) expressed optimism Wednesday that he will play in the Divisional round. "It feels good," he said. "We'll see. We've got a couple more days to go." Moore won't play against the 49ers if he can't practice, but he did participate in the team's Tuesday walkthrough. Perhaps he'll practice on Thursday.

Lance Moore (hamstring) did not participate in Saints practice Wednesday. Saints SS Roman Harper (ankle) and TE John Gilmore (toe) were also held out. Harper is expected to play against the 49ers, but Moore and Gilmore are in serious danger of missing the game. Moore has a week-to-week injury.

What is known is that the Saints did no team drills in the portion of practice open to the media. Moore's presence on the field is the first positive sign in two weeks.
