WR BUF (7)
Palmer is expected to be the No. 2 wide receiver for the Chargers entering Sunday's contest with both Mike Williams and Jalen Guyton on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
It'll be interesting to see how the Chargers offense operates with both Keenan Allen and Palmer as the primary options on the field given the two generally tend to run the same routes, but given the lack of available weapons overall Sunday it might simply be a matter of talent overcoming scheme deficiencies. Jason Moore, the third-year practice squad receiver with just two catches over the course of his career, will operate as the team's No. 3 wide receiver with Williams, Guyton and Andre Roberts (illness) all sidelined.

Palmer caught his lone target for 15 yards in Thursday's 34-28 loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
The return of Keenan Allen from COVID-19 protocols predictably moved Palmer back to an afterthought as the rookie wideout saw just 41 percent of Thursday's offensive snaps. The 22-year-old has at least seen his offensive role grow throughout the season, playing at least 20 offensive snaps for the fifth consecutive game after going over that threshold just once through Week 10, but the incremental rise in playing time hasn't done much for his fantasy value. Don't expect things to change much in Week 16 even against the Texans.

Palmer caught five passes for 66 yards and one touchdown on seven targets against the Giants on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Palmer led the Chargers with seven targets against the Giants, stepping up in place of usual lead target Keenan Allen, who was out due to COVID protocols. Palmer appeared to be Allen's main backup throughout the year, and this game both confirms that status and Palmer's readiness to step up in instances during which Allen is out. Palmer will likely revert to the WR4 role once Allen returns to the field, and Allen is expected to play against the Chiefs in Week 15.

Palmer failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 41-22 win over the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
Palmer saw a slip in snap time as Mike Williams and Jalen Guyton took charge. The rookie's lone target was simply a dropped deep pass which slipped off his hands and somehow landed in the cornerback's arm for Justin Herbert's lone interception. In the previous five games, the fourth-string wide receiver had at least one catch with 17-plus yards, but with a significant lead for most of the afternoon Palmer wasn't needed. Facing the Giants in the upcoming week, the rookie might have an impact with Keenan Allen placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.

Palmer caught both of his targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 28-13 loss to the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie saw his second-most snaps this season, but the extra workload once again didn't translate to much. Favorable passing game scripts could force Palmer onto the field more as the season progresses, but he's far behind the totem pole with a number of more efficient targets heavily utilized by the Chargers.

WR BUF (7)
Palmer caught his only target for 17 yards in the 41-37 win over the Steelers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
After going two straight games with at least two catches, Palmer was limited to only one reception Sunday night. The 22-year-old's snap share was down from last week as he was only on the field for 30 percent of snaps, a bit less than Jalen Guyton. With the high volume of passes that go to Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, Palmer's fantasy value is significantly minimized.

Palmer caught three of four targets for 22 yards during Sunday's 27-20 loss against the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
Palmer caught a season-high three passes against the Vikings on Sunday. All three of Palmer's catches came on the Chargers' last possession of the game and set up a 24-yard Dustin Hopkins field goal. Palmer has only seen 17 targets on the year, but this game marks an uptick in usage for the 2021 third-round pick. Moving forward, Palmer should continue to function as Justin Herbert's fifth or sixth option in the passing game, and his upside is capped by the talent ahead of him in the receiving core.

Palmer caught both of his targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Palmer continues to have a small role in the Chargers' explosive offense, extending his streak of at least one catch to four games. The rookie wideout saw an uptick in playing time as he was on the field for 30 percent of the offensive snaps, a major increase from Week 8 where he was only on the field for 13 percent. Going forward, look for the 22-year-old to split the No. 3 wide receiver role with Jalen Guyton.

Palmer caught his lone target for 24 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Palmer's score game on a junk-time drive, but it was an impressive catch nevertheless as the 2021 third-round pick plucked the ball away from two defenders on an underthrown pass. The rookie has rarely been used this season, ceding the majority of the playing time to Keenan Allen, Mike Williams and Jalen Guyton.

Palmer caught two of his three targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 47-42 win over the Browns.
EDGE Analysis
Palmer played 16 offensive snaps, but was once again relegated to an after thought. After seemingly emerging from training camp as the No. 3 pass catcher, Palmer has more or less been a depth piece behind Jalen Guyton, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams and likely won't rise above that spot unless injuries occur.
