Jerricho Cotchery (knee) did not participate in Steelers practice Wednesday. Cotchery should play against the Bengals, but won't be able to replicate his three-catch, 44-yard Week 9 performance with Hines Ward (head) expected to be active. Keep Cotchery quarantined to the waiver wire.

Jerricho Cotchery is expected to limited in practice this week after coming down with knee soreness after the Ravens loss. While Emmanuel Sanders is out two weeks with a knee scope, Hines Ward (head) is fully expected to play this week against the Bengals. Cotchery will be no higher than fourth on the depth chart. Leave him on the waiver wire.

Jerricho Cotchery caught three balls for 44 yards in the Steelers' Week 9 loss to the Ravens. He saw the field prominently after Hines Ward left with a stinger or concussion, depending on who you ask. With Emmanuel Sanders (personal, knee) also out, it opened up playing time he's not likely to see going forward. If the aforementioned Steelers miss more time, he could be worth a look as a desperate, deep-league PPR play.

Steelers declared WR Jerricho Cotchery, RE Brett Keisel, CB Bryant McFadden, RB Jonathan Dwyer, QB Dennis Dixon, LT Jonathan Scott and OT Jamon Meredith inactive for Week 3 against the Colts. Ziggy Hood will start in place of Keisel, while Williams Gay will fill in for McFadden at left cornerback. Cotchery is inactive despite not appearing on the Steelers' Week 3 injury report. He might not last the season in Pittsburgh.

Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) is not on the Steelers' Week 3 injury report. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Cotchery "could" dress as the Steelers' fifth receiver against the Colts on Sunday. Firmly behind Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown on the depth chart, Cotchery seems closer to his release than he does to fantasy relevance.

Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) has been declared out for Week 2. The eight-year veteran can't shake the hamstring ailment he picked up midway through training camp. Barring a wave of injuries in Pittsburgh's receiver corps, Cotchery can be safely ignored in all formats this season.

Steelers declared WR Jerricho Cotchery, QB Dennis Dixon, RB Jonathan Dwyer, CB Curtis Brown, LB Chris Carter, OT Chris Scott, and OG Ramon Foster inactive for Week 1 against the Ravens. The Steelers are expected to "air it out" against Baltimore's young corners, and Arnaz Battle will be the fifth receiver with Cotchery out. Charlie Batch is the No. 2 QB, with Hines Ward filling the emergency role.

Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) was held out of Steelers practice Thursday. Cotchery is doubtful to suit up against the Ravens. The veteran is just fifth on the depth chart, behind both Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown. This is hardly a big loss for the Steelers.

Jerricho Cotchery is inactive for the Steelers' third preseason game on Saturday with a hamstring injury. Cotchery's surgically repaired back hasn't given him any trouble during training camp, but now he'll most likely miss Pittsburgh's final two preseason games. Whenever the Steelers finally get all their receivers healthy, Cotchery should be fifth on the depth chart.

Jerricho Cotchery caught two passes for 49 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles in the Steelers' second preseason game. Cotchery showed no ill-effects from offseason back surgery. He functioned as Byron Leftwich's top receiver while Antonio Brown worked with Ben Roethlisberger in three-wide sets. The Steelers have more depth at the position than ever this year.
