Jeremy Maclin caught three passes for 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's rout of the Cowboys. Two of Maclin's catches came on Philadelphia's opening drive, which he capped off with a 12-yard touchdown. He was targeted just three times on the evening, as Michael Vick locked onto Brent Celek and Jason Avant with Dallas intent on not getting burned downfield. Maclin had reeled in at least five catches in five consecutive games. He should fare better against Chicago's below-average secondary in Week 9.

Jeremy Maclin caught six passes for 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Bills. Michael Vick found Maclin for a two-yard score early in the second quarter. Five of Maclin's six catches came in the first half, as Vick zeroed in on Jason Avant and DeSean Jackson in the second. Maclin has now found the end zone three times in his past four games, while his 44 targets lead the Eagles through five weeks. He's locked in as a WR2.

Jeremy Maclin caught seven balls for 74 yards in Week 4, but his fumble with just over two minutes left to play ended the Eagles' chances for a win against the Niners on Sunday. Maclin has now failed twice in critical late-game situations (the other time was a drop in Atlanta that sealed a loss), and in each game he had otherwise performed admirably. After falling in drafts due to his mysterious illness, Maclin has wasted no time in becoming an every-week WR2. He is on pace for 104 catches, 1,336 yards, and eight touchdowns.

Jeremy Maclin is officially active for Week 4 against the 49ers. So is Michael Vick, and both players will start. The Eagles' inactives are CB Brandon Hughes, CB Curtis Marsh, DE Darryl Tapp, OG Danny Watkins, OL Julian Vandervelde, OT Winston Justice, and DE Parker. Brian Rolle will start at weak-side linebacker, supplanting Casey Matthews. Nate Allen is the new first-team free safety.

NFL Network's Albert Breer is reporting that Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin (hamstring, probable) will start in Week 4. Maclin was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday, but appears ready to play against the 49ers. With a team-high 19 catches for 260 yards and two touchdowns through the first three games, Maclin has emerged as Philadelphia's most consistent receiver. He comes in as our No. 19 ranked fantasy play for Week 4.

Jeremy Maclin participated in Eagles practice Friday. On SportsCenter Friday morning, ESPN's John Clayton pseudo-reported that Maclin will be a "game-time decision" against the 49ers, but that "Maclin (is) all set to play for Philadelphia, most likely." It sounded like pure speculation to us. We don't expect to have a good idea of Maclin's availability until Sunday morning. He'll be a high-risk WR2 play this week.

Jeremy Maclin (hamstring) was limited in his return to practice Thursday. It's still a positive sign that Maclin was able to get some work in while battling a hamstring tweak. He expects to play Sunday against the 49ers, but that's written in light pencil.

Jeremy Maclin (hamstring) is confident that he will start against the 49ers after returning to the practice field on Thursday. "I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize or hurt the team," said Maclin. "If it feels good like it does now and I feel like I can go, I can go." It sounds like Maclin is prepared to test the hamstring on Thursday. If he can make it through the next two days without a tweak, he should be good to go as a high-risk fantasy play against the Niners.
