Rousseau (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
The Bills will rest Rousseau and other key defenders for Sunday's regular-season finale, so the fifth-year pro will end the 2025 campaign with 46 tackles (24 solo), including 7.0 sacks, two pass defenses and one forced fumble across 16 games. With Rousseau, Joey Bosa (hamstring) and DaQuan Jones (calf) all inactive, more snaps on the Bills' defensive line will be available for the likes of Javon Solomon, Jordan Phillips, Larry Ogunjobi, A.J. Epenesa and Matthew Jones.

Rousseau recorded three tackles, including 2.5 sacks, in Sunday's 23-20 Week 16 victory against Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
Rousseau had a hand in all three of Buffalo's sacks in the game, notching two solo sacks and splitting another with Jordan Poyer. Rousseau now has 3.5 sacks over his past two games after tallying 3.0 across his first 13 contests of the campaign. His career high for sacks in a regular season is 8.0, which he's accomplished twice in his five-year NFL career.

Rousseau recorded six tackles (two solo) in Buffalo's loss to Houston on Thursday night.
EDGE Analysis
Rousseau played 75 percent of the defensive snaps against the Texans, marking his third-highest snap rate of the season, and his six tackles tied a season-high. On the year, Rousseau has logged 35 tackles (19 solo), including 3.0 sacks, 11 QB hits and a pair of pass breakups. He's gone three consecutive games without recording a sack.

Rousseau (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Rousseau practiced without limitations Friday after a pair of limited sessions, helping him get the green light to suit up Sunday against Buffalo's green-clad AFC East rivals. Buffalo's 2021 first-round pick is looking for his first sack of the season after tying his career high with 8.0 during the 2024 regular season.

Rousseau was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a knee injury.
EDGE Analysis
Rosseau played 35 of 51 defensive snaps during the Bills' Week 1 win over the Ravens and finished with three solo tackles and a pass defense. He may have picked up a knee injury during the victory, but he'll have two more chances to log a full practice and avoid an injury tag heading into Sunday's AFC East clash against the Jets.

Rousseau recorded three tackles (three solo) and a pass defensed during Sunday's 41-40 win versus the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
Lamar Jackson only attempted 19 passes on a day where Baltimore averaged 8.2 yards per rush attempt as a team, so Rousseau didn't get many opportunities to pin his ears back in Week 1. The Bills' matchup against the Jets in Week 2 doesn't necessarily lend itself to many chances to rush the quarterback either, so Rousseau might have to try to make the most of every shot he gets.

Rousseau agreed to a four-year, $80 million contract extension with the Bills on Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 2021 first-round pick has been a stalwart for the Bills' defense in his first four years in the NFL. He's coming off a 2024 campaign in which he logged 53 tackles (36 solo), including 8.0 sacks (tying a career best), three pass defenses, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery across 16 regular-season games while adding 2.0 sacks across the Bills' three playoff contests. Rousseau will continue to serve as a linchpin for Buffalo's defense alongside Terrel Bernard, A.J. Epenesa and Ed Oliver.

Rousseau recorded 53 total tackles (36 solo), including 8.0 sacks, three passes defended and three forced fumbles over 16 regular-season games in 2024.
EDGE Analysis
Rousseau was an iron man for the Bills this season, starting every game except for a Week 18 matchup against the Patriots, when Buffalo rested its starters after securing the No. 2 seed in the AFC. The 2021 first-round pick from Miami tied his career high in sacks in 2024 while leading Buffalo's defense in tackles for loss (16), sacks and forced fumbles. His team-option for the 2025 season was picked, making it likely he'll return to the Bills. Rousseau is expected to remain one of Buffalo's top defensive players next year and could very well receive an extension at some point this offseason.

Rousseau registered four tackles (all solo), including 1.0 sacks, and recovered a fumble in Sunday's 35-10 win over the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
In a game that was played in snowy conditions, players on both sides of the ball visibly struggled to gain traction on field. That led to just one sack -- Rousseau's second-quarter takedown of Brock Purdy -- being recorded across both teams. Rousseau has registered a sack in three of his past four contests and is up to 6.5 on the campaign. His career-high mark is 8.0, which he established in 2022 as a second-year player.

Rousseau recorded seven total tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks and an additional two tackles for loss, in Sunday's 30-27 win over the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
The fourth-year pro wreaked havoc on the Dolphins' offensive line in Sunday's win, as he was the only Bill to take down Tua Tagovailoa while also logging an additional two tackles for loss. Rousseau is having one of the best seasons of his young career through nine games, recording 33 total tackles, including 4.5 sacks, and two passes defended. He's expected to continue causing problems for opposing offenses as the Bills face the Colts in Week 10.
