Bucs activated CB Eric Wright from the reserve/suspended list. Wright was suspended four games for violating the league's policy on PEDs. Head coach Greg Schiano said he wasn't sure if Wright would play in the Week 17 finale against the Falcons, but the move has been made for him to at least be available. CB LeQuan Lewis was waived in a corresponding move.

Due to his four-game PEDs suspension, the remainder of the guaranteed money in Bucs RCB Eric Wright's contract has been voided. So not only will Wright lose $1.7 million in game checks for the four-game ban, he could also be released after the season and the Bucs would be off the hook for his $7.75 million base salary in 2013. This PED suspension -- allegedly for using Adderall, could wind up costing Wright nearly $10 million.

Bucs CB Eric Wright has lost his appeal of his four-game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances, and will begin serving his ban immediately. He'll be eligible to return in Week 17. Wright's play has been shaky as he's suited up through an Achilles' issue, but it's a major blow for the league's No. 32 pass defense. A unit that can't stop anybody will be forced to go with E.J. Biggers and Leonard Johnson as Tampa makes its playoff push. The Bucs will be taksed with slowing down Peyton Manning and Drew Brees in two of their next four games. They won't succeed.

Bucs CB Eric Wright (Achilles) will not play on Sunday against the Falcons. Tampa Bay's league-worst pass defense will be minus their top corner. This bodes well for Atlanta's dual receiving threat of Roddy White and Julio Jones. E.J. Biggers and Leonard Johnson will start on the outside with LeQuan Lewis manning the slot. Bucs CB Eric Wright (Achilles) was limited in Friday's practice, and has yet to be ruled out for Week 12. "We're going to have to wait and see. I think he's done enough that we'll see. He's not ruled out of the game, so we're going to have to see,'' said coach Greg Schiano. If Wright can't play, rookie Leonard Johnson would likely start at right cornerback opposite E.J. Biggers. LeQuan Lewis would be the nickel corner in passing situations.

Bucs CB Eric Wright (Achilles) is week-to-week. For what it's worth, the Bucs' Twitter account is referring to Wright's injury as an ankle issue. Regardless, Wright should be considered doubtful for Week 12, leaving the Bucs' secondary as the lone major question mark on a rapidly improving team.

Bucs CB Eric Wright aggravated his Achilles' tendon injury during Sunday's Week 11 game against the Panthers. Wright just can't get over the hump. He aggravated this four-week old injury by simply planting his left foot in the turf in the third quarter. The Bucs' secondary is one to exploit weekly in fantasy circles.

Bucs CB Eric Wright (Achilles) returned to practice on Friday and is expected to play in Week 11. Wright aggravated his Achilles injury last Sunday against the Chargers and left the game. He missed Thursday's practice, but this was due to personal reasons according to coach Greg Schiano. It looks like Wright will be available for the Bucs' 32nd ranked pass defense.

The injury that knocked CB Eric Wright out of Sunday's win over the Chargers was related to his ongoing Achilles' woes.
