The player rep for free agent FS Eric Weddle says he'll give the Chargers "the first shot" to re-sign his client. Agent David Canter expects Weddle to have plenty of other suitors, however. In June, Weddle told FOX Sports that Canter had spoken with "over 10 teams" that were interested in his services. With many players, we'd call B.S. on that estimate. For a young high-character, high-quality defensive back like Weddle, it's believable. He's going to get a ton of money.
