Freeman had 20 carries for 139 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 41-13 win over the 49ers. He added two receptions on two targets for 16 yards.
EDGE Analysis
After scoring in the opening quarter, Freeman fumbled at the one-yard line in the second period, but made up for it later with an impressive nine-yard scoring run just before halftime. He added a third touchdown in the second half on a 34-yard scamper. Meanwhile, Tevin Coleman had 14 carries for 58 yards and caught both of his targets for eight yards. Freeman was shut down last week against the Rams, but has otherwise been productive lately with seven touchdowns over the last four games.

Freeman had six carries for six yards in Sunday's win over the Rams. He added two receptions for 12 yards in the victory.
EDGE Analysis
The Rams were able to stonewall Freeman on Sunday as five of his six rushing yards came on one run. The Falcons were able to jump out to a 42-point lead Sunday, which led to head coach Dan Quinn removing several of his starters, including Freeman, late in the game. Freeman figures to see a higher percentage of snaps in Week 15 when the Falcons host the 49ers.

Freeman carried 15 times for 56 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 29-28 loss to the Chiefs. He also caught four of five targets for an additional 49 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman opened the scoring with a one-yard plunge in the first quarter and repeated the feat again in the fourth for his second consecutive two-touchdown performance. He was held to 3.7 yards per carry but was able to produce his second-best receiving yardage output of the season to top 100 scrimmage yards for the fifth time. Freeman should remain a solid fantasy play next week when the Falcons travel to take on a Rams team that has been susceptible to strong running back play this season.

Freeman rushed for 60 yards and two scores on 16 carries in Sunday's win over Arizona. He added 17 yards on two catches.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman snapped a two-game scoreless skid early on Sunday with a one-yard plunge and then put the game away with a late four-yard scamper. It's easy to get excited after such a game, but it's worth remembering that Freeman had just five touchdowns entering the game and has reached 100 total yards just twice in his last six games. Freeman is still a quality start in a sizzling Atlanta offense that has topped 30 points in four of the last five games, but he has been unable to restore the shine he carried early last season. The return of Tevin Coleman, who scored on Sunday, from a hamstring injury is likely to further cut into Freeman's production.

Freeman carried 12 times for 49 yards and caught all three targets for an additional 32 yards in Sunday's 24-15 loss to the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Atlanta struggled to control the ball and did not sustain enough drives for Freeman to be effective. He made the most of his looks in the passing game, but did not see enough usage in that respect to make a real impact either. Freeman will likely rebound sooner rather than later, but he might have to wait, as the Falcons will be on bye next week before taking on the Cardinals in Week 12.

With Tevin Coleman (hamstring) being ruled out of Sunday's game against the Eagles, Freeman will be the Falcons' clear-cut top running back once again.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman has totaled 163 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns on 34 touches in Coleman's recent two-game absence, which will extend into Sunday's contest. Although only two teams have allowed fewer rushing touchdowns than the Eagles, Freeman at least stands to benefit from another extended snap count Sunday, when Terron Ward figures to represent his biggest competition for backfield touches.

Freeman gained 77 yards on 17 carries and hauled in both of his targets for 28 yards in Thursday's 43-28 win over the Bucs.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman took a back seat to the passing game Thursday, as Matt Ryan put together yet another spectacular performance. However, Freeman was effective against the Bucs' normally stingy run defense, averaging 4.5 yards a tote his 17 attempts. The 24-year-old has actually only recorded over 20 carries once this season, and Thursday's outing marked his first time over 4.0 YPC since Week 4. He'll face off against a tough Eagles defense in Week 10, a contest in which may also see Tevin Coleman return from his hamstring injury, which could result in a slight dip in Freeman's touches.

With Tevin Coleman (hamstring) being ruled out for Thursday's game in Tampa Bay, Freeman will be the unquestioned Falcons' No. 1 running back for another week.
EDGE Analysis
During Coleman's first DNP in Week 8, the Packers' seventh-ranked defense quelled Freeman, containing him to 11 carries for 35 yards and four receptions for 23 yards. However, Freeman easily out-snapped backup RB Terron Ward, 46-17, and reached the end zone a pair of times within the five-yard line. Those prime red-zone touches will be available again with Coleman on the sideline, and the Buccaneers are far more yielding than the Packers, allowing 152.6 yards per game from scrimmage and eight touchdowns in seven contests to running backs this season.

Freeman carried the ball 11 times for 35 yards and a touchdown and caught four of six targets for 23 yards and a score in Sunday's win over Green Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman got the Falcons into the end zone just before halftime with a five-yard screen out of the slot and then followed up with a one-yard plunge in the third quarter. It was Freeman's first multi-score game of the season after three such games in 2015. Even with the big game, Freeman is still well behind last season's touchdown total of 14 and has just three games of 100 or more total yards after eight last season. The emergence of Tevin Coleman, particularly in the passing game, has a lot to do with that along with Matt Ryan's growth in the offense. Freeman is still one of the most versatile threats in the game, which Sunday further proved. Expect a big outing on Thursday against a weak Tampa Bay defense, especially if Coleman is unable to return to the lineup.

Freeman (hip) does not have a Week 8 injury designation after fully practicing Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman was a full participant both Thursday and Friday, which will allow him to lead the Falcons backfield Sunday versus the Packers, when teammate Tevin Coleman's (hamstring) absence should result in a heavier workload than usual.
