Freeman (hip) will practice in full Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
There was cause for concern when Freeman took the practice field in a non-contact jersey Wednesday, but those thoughts should fall by the wayside with an uninhibited session just one day later. With Tevin Coleman (hamstring) expected to sit out Sunday against the Packers, Freeman is poised to handle a significant workload, as he did last season.

Freeman was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a hip injury, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After Freeman was seen in a black non-contact jersey, the Falcons tipped their hand that his work would be capped to individual drills, at most, to start Week 8 prep. Turning in a limited practice Wednesday was clearly the best-case scenario, and he'll have two additional sessions to prove the health of his hip. Even if he's unable to put in a complete showing Thursday or Friday, he's in line to act as the Falcons' primary RB option due to Tevin Coleman's likely absence Sunday versus the Packers.

Freeman wore a black non-contact jersey at Wednesday's practice, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Falcons backfield has been a two-headed monster for much of the season, but now the status of both Tevin Coleman (hamstring) and Freeman are in question. At least there's an expectation that Coleman won't be available Sunday versus the Packers. With Freeman's likely lack of practice reps Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury, head coach Dan Quinn may have to turn to some combination of Terron Ward and newcomer Stevan Ridley in Week 8. Expect Wednesday's injury report to shed some light into Freeman's health.

Freeman had 15 carries for 58 yards and caught five of six targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 33-30 overtime loss to the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman was having a quiet game as a runner, until he ripped off a couple of nifty runs in the second half. Meanwhile, Tevin Coleman had eight carries for 64 yards and a touchdown, but left in the second half with a hamstring injury and did not return. If Coleman was forced to miss time, Freeman's value would obviously increase. Next up for Freeman are the Packers in Week 8.

Freeman rushed 12 times for 40 yards and added three receptions for 10 yards in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Almost half of Freeman's production came on an 18-yard scamper in the third quarter, so it was almost an even quieter day for the third-year back. However, struggles were to be expected for the Falcons' run game Sunday, as the Seahawks were allowing only 3.4 yards-per-carry coming into the contest. Perhaps the better news for Freeman owners is that Tevin Coleman received only six touches compared to Freeman's 15, but the two are still expected to split action going forward. Up next for the Falcons is a matchup with the Chargers, who were allowing 23 ESPN standard fantasy points per game to opposing running backs coming into Week 6.

Freeman rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries and added 35 yards through the air on three catches in Sunday's win over Denver.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman got Atlanta going on the first drive of the game with a one-yard plunge on 4th and goal. He kept the chains moving throughout the game as Atlanta ate up a ton of clock early. Freeman is seeing far more competition for touches this season, with Tevin Coleman in the fold, as compared to last year's breakout season - but he's found a groove after a slow start in Week 1, scoring in each of the past three games.

Freeman gained 57 yards and scored a touchdown on 13 carries and secured two of three targets for seven yards in Sunday's 48-33 win over the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Although he couldn't quite replicate his stellar Monday night performance against the Saints, Freeman was nevertheless efficient with the opportunities he did receive. He was able to also get into the end zone after seeing Tevin Coleman vulture three scores in Week 3 and averaged a solid 4.4 yards per carry. Freeman is certainly not the centerpiece of the offense that he was throughout his impressive run last season, but has managed 322 yards on 55 carries through four weeks, an impressive 5.9 yards per tote.

Freeman (illness) returned to practice as a full participant Friday and does not have an injury designation on the final report for Sunday's game against Carolina, ESPN's Vaughn McClure reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tevin Coleman also logged a full practice and is slated to play in Sunday's game. Freeman and Coleman will continue to split work, forming a potent duo out of the backfield.

Freeman didn't practice Thursday due to an illness, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman's illness comes at a fortuitous time, as the malady arrives midweek rather than just before game day. Although its severity is unknown, he has one more practice this week in order to clarify his health. Meanwhile, Tevin Coleman (ankle) remained limited Thursday, so the state of the Falcons' backfield bears watching as Sunday's contest against the Panthers approaches.

Freeman finished with 152 rushing yards on 14 carries and caught five passes (on five targets) for 55 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's win over the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Freeman enjoyed himself against a very suspect Saints defense, ripping off a career-long rush of 48 yards during the fourth quarter to cap a big Monday night performance. In compiling 207 all-purpose yards, Freeman led the Falcons in both rushing and receiving, and scored his first touchdown of the season with a 13-yard catch to start the second quarter. While it's worth noting that teammate Tevin Coleman found pay dirt three times Monday, Freeman's fantasy owners should surely still be satisfied with his wildly productive, well-rounded Week 3 showing.
