Cowboys OLB DeMarcus Ware (quad) warned that he's "not going to be out that long."
Ware has heard the 3-4 week timetable, but isn't buying it. "My body recovers really fast," he said. Given Ware's history of playing through injury (134 consecutive games played), we're not going to doubt him. The Cowboys' bye isn't until Week 11.

Appearing on FOX Football Daily, Jay Glazer reported DeMarcus Ware (quad) is only expected to miss one or two games.
Glazer reported that it's not even a certainty Ware misses Week 7 against the Eagles, though the team plans to be more cautious with Ware than DeMarco Murray (MCL). ESPN's Adam Schefter reported earlier in the day that Ware will miss 3-4 weeks with the strained quad. It's possible Ware is dealing with just a minor strain. Consider him more week-to-week than "out indefinitely."

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Cowboys OLB DeMarcus Ware's quad strain will sideline him 3-4 weeks.
A routine strain would likely put Ware in questionable territory for Week 7, so we suspect he's got a very severe one, if not a tear. The Cowboys' bye is in Week 12. If Ware can't get back "ahead of schedule," it's entirely possible the team will work around that date. Losing Ware after losing Anthony Spencer to a year-ending knee injury will cripple Dallas' pass rush. In fantasy, it's good news for opposing quarterbacks and wide receivers.

A source tells ESPN Dallas DeMarcus Ware (quad) will "most likely" miss Week 7, but that he has a better chance of suiting up than DeMarco Murray (knee).
Ware has never missed a game, so much like Roddy White earlier this season, we wouldn't be surprised if he suited up, even if it wasn't in his best interest. Ware was reportedly walking without a limp after Sunday night's win. His status will be updated later this week.

DeMarcus Ware (quad) said Sunday night that he's "good."
Ware left in the second quarter and didn't return, but he wasn't walking with a limp after the game. His injury is being called a sprain and he's headed for a Monday MRI along with teammate DeMarco Murray. Ware, who has battled stingers and back issues this year, has four sacks through six games.

Cowboys RE DeMarcus Ware left Sunday night's Week 6 game against the Redskins with a right quad injury.
Ware suffered a right leg/quad injury in the second quarter and is questionable to return. The severity isn't yet known and he's been taken to the locker room for further testing. Kyle Wilber will replace him in the starting lineup.

Cowboys RE DeMarcus Ware was fully cleared on the first day of training camp after offseason shoulder surgery.
He passed his conditioning test and received medical clearance, practicing at right defensive end as Ware transitions from 3-4 outside 'backer. Ware will remain a highly productive edge-bending pass rusher in the new scheme, but Dallas' run defense could be a concern with one of the NFL's lightest front sevens. They'll definitely have the league's lightest-weight defensive end duo.

ESPN Dallas reports Cowboys RE DeMarcus Ware (shoulder) and DT Jay Ratliff (sports-hernia surgery) could be limited early in camp.
Ware himself has said he'll be "out there doing everything," but coach Jason Garrett was more cautious. "He's made great progress coming off the injuries from last year," Garrett said. "We'll certainly be smart going forward and see how he is each and every day. He seems excited and he seems ready to go." Ratliff's operation was in December, so it's a bit surprising he might start off limited. Either way, he'll be ready for Week 1.

Cowboys RE DeMarcus Ware (shoulder) will be 100 percent for training camp.
Ware underwent shoulder surgery in early January, and was held out of team drills in OTAs and minicamp. "I'll be out there doing everything from all the drills to all the plays they want me to do," Ware said Tuesday. "I feel like my shoulder is about 94 percent, if you want to put it that way. If we had to play a game tomorrow, I'd be ready to play." Although constantly banged up, Ware has never missed a game in his eight-year career.
