Thomas (hamstring) will make his debut Sunday against the 49ers.
Thomas could initially impact the team as a punt returner, taking the job from Frankie Hammond Jr. The rookie speedster was used both as a running back and a returner at Oregon and could be used as a complimentary pass-catching back with the Chiefs in addition to the return game. With the recent sports hernia injury to Donnie Avery, the opening may be there for Thomas to make an impact in multiple facets quickly.

Thomas (hamstring) practiced fully Wednesday, the Chiefs' official site reports.
In the long-term, Thomas is a candidate help fill the void created by the offseason departure of the versatile Dexter McCluster, but upon his initial return to action, he's likely to make his primary impact in the Chiefs' return game.

Thomas (hamstring) is inactive Monday versus the Patriots, BJ Kissel of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Thomas will continue to sit as a result of a hamstring injury, which first emerged in the latter stages of the preseason. No matter, the return of Jamaal Charles (ankle) to the lineup would have left Thomas third in the RB pecking order behind the Pro Bowler and second-year pro Knile Davis.

Thomas (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Patriots, BJ Kissel of Chiefs Live reports.
Thomas was able to practice on a limited basis this week, but his status for Monday's game likely will not be determined until close to game time. If Thomas suits up, expect him to serve as the Chiefs' third running back behind Jamaal Charles and Knile Davis.

Thomas (hamstring) was limited at practice Friday, the Chiefs' official site reports.
Assuming no setbacks, Thomas would appear to have a solid chance to suit up Monday against the Patriots, but we'd like to see him get a productive game in before recommending him as a lineup option in all but the deepest of formats.

Thomas (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, the Chiefs' official site reports.
Thomas may finally receive an opportunity for his regular season NFL debut if he can go Sunday. With Joe McKnight having torn his Achilles on Thursday, the team could definitely use Thomas and his pass-catching abilities as an option.

Thomas (hamstring) will practice Thursday.
Barring any setbacks, Thomas would appear to have a chance to suit up Monday against the Patriots, but a wait-and-see approach is in order here, especially given the Chiefs' late kickoff in Week 4.

Thomas (hamstring) is expected to participate when the Chiefs resume practice Thursday, Pete Sweeney of the team's official site reports.
Thomas is eagerly awaiting his regular-season debut, and it initially looked like it would come in Week 3. He practiced Wednesday, and coach Andy Reid said he was "healthy and ready to go," but the rookie was held out Thursday and ultimately missed Sunday's game. Thomas should serve in a similar role as the departed Dexter McCluster, and could serve on special teams as well.

Thomas (hamstring) will not play Sunday against the Dolphins, BJ Kissel of kcchiefs.com reports.
Down the road, Thomas could help fill the void created by the offseason departure of the versatile Dexter McCluster, but that possibility continues to remain on hold.

Thomas (hamstring) did not practice Thursday, ESPN's Adam Teicher reports.
We'll circle back on Thomas' status Friday, but his absence from practice Thursday's suggests that his anticipated return to action may be delayed.
