Thomas rushed two times for 14 yards and caught one pass for five yards in Sunday's game against the Raiders. He also added an 81-yard punt return for a touchdown.
Thomas saw 21 snaps compared to just five all of last week. This can largely be attributed to Jamaal Charles leaving the game briefly and being tested for a concussion, then consequently sitting for the fourth quarter. It appears Charles passed his concussion test, though Knile Davis is still considered his direct backup if he can't play.

Thomas snagged two passes for five yards Sunday against the Broncos.
Thomas actually outsnapped Knile Davis in Sunday's game five to two. It could be in part due to Thomas' superior abilities in the passing game, but regardless, neither he nor Davis appear to be viable fantasy options with Charles taking 96 percent of the offensive snaps.

Thomas caught 2-of-6 targets for 15 yards, adding one carry for nine yards, in Thursday's 24-20 loss to the Raiders.
Thomas finished second on the team in targets, trailing only fellow running back Jamaal Charles, who caught 4-of-7 for 42 yards and a touchdown. According to Arrowhead Pride, Thomas played a season-high offensive 33 snaps, which was at least partially due to the absence of slot receiver Junior Hemingway, who exited in the first half with a concussion. Thomas had an odd night returning punts, as he picked up 15 yards on his first return, lost 12 on his second, and was then replaced by Frankie Hammond, who gained 48 yards on his two returns. Meanwhile, Thomas' lone kick return was a 48-yarder that set the Chiefs up with excellent field position for the game's (unsuccessful) final drive.

Thomas remains mostly used in the return game, and continues to be the team's third option at running back behind Jamaal Charles and Knile Davis.

Thomas carried the ball one time Sunday against the Bills.
Thomas didn't make much of an impact in the box score offensively, but was on the field for 25 percent (a high for the season) of the snaps. His biggest impact remains on special teams, as he has entrenched himself into punt return duties and also saw an opportunity on kickoffs Sunday.

Thomas rushed one time for five yards and caught two passes for 21 yards Sunday against the Chargers.
Coach Andy Reid expressed interest in getting Thomas more involved in the game plan, but he received just three touches. While this is an increase from the one touch he received last week, it isn't enough to make him fantasy relevant in most leagues, but if he can receive increased looks as a pass-catcher, he could start popping up on the deep PPR league radar.

Coach Andy Reid said he wants to get Thomas more involved in the game plan, the Kansas City Star reports. "The most important thing is we got him back in, and he came out healthy," Chiefs coach Andy Reid said. "Now we can work from there and just give him a little bit more and a little bit more. We don't want to overload him at all, but at the same time we want him to be a part of the game plan. That's how we're going to approach it this week."
Thomas was utilized in many different roles at Oregon, and the plan appears to be the same with the Chiefs. He was used as a returner two weeks ago against the 49ers, but also caught a pass and took it 17 yards for a touchdown. His electrifying speed gives him an opportunity to make a big play every time he touches the ball. This may happen more often in the future if coach Andy Reid's comments hold true.

Thomas caught one pass for 17 yards and a touchdown against the 49ers on Sunday.
Thomas only received one touch offensively in his debut Sunday, but made it count. He also served as the team's punt returner, and averaged 19 yards per return. Thomas has the speed and shiftiness to be an impact player with the ball in his hands and it wouldn't be surprising if the team finds more ways to do that going forward.
