Culliver (ankle) is active for Sunday's game at Dallas, SFGate.com reports.
Making his first appearance since 2012 as a result of an ACL tear, Culliver will aid in containing a stacked receiving corps composed of Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams (back), and Jason Witten.

Culliver (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game against Dallas.
Culliver's presence will be helpful as the 49ers attempt to keep up with Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams and Jason Witten, though he's not likely to make an IDP impact.

Culliver (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, CSN Bay Area reports.
Culliver is slated to be a starting corner for the 49ers this season. He has been dealing with this ankle injury, but his participation in practice, albeit limited, is a good sign that he will suit up Sunday against Dallas.

49ers CB Chris Culliver remains penciled in as a starter.
The Niners reportedly weren't high on the 2014 cornerback class, and didn't draft one until the late fourth round (Dontae Johnson). First-round pick Jimmie Ward is a free safety and slot corner. Culliver has tools to become a plus starter, but injuries and off-field hiccups have held him back to this point.

49ers GM Trent Baalke said the team "absolutely will" draft a cornerback on Saturday "if the right player is there at the right time."
The 49ers should be looking for competition for CB Chris Culliver. Culliver (knee surgery) is expected to be ready physically for training camp but is facing felony possession of metal knuckles and misdemeanor hit-and-run charges stemming from an incident this March. The charges put him in danger of facing league discipline. Clemson CB Bashaud Breeland and Oregon CB Terrance Mitchell are two of Rotoworld's Josh Norris favorite remaining players and potential targets for San Francisco early in the fourth round.

49ers CB Chris Culliver pleaded not guilty Monday to felony possession of metal knuckles and misdemeanor hit-and-run charges stemming from his March 28 arrest.
Culliver is accused of striking a bicycler with his car, ramming a witness' vehicle, and threatening the witness with brass knuckles. He is in danger of NFL discipline. Culliver's arrest was just one of several off-field incidents haunting the 49ers' organization during a so-far forgettable offseason.

49ers CB Chris Culliver has been formally charged with a felony and two misdemeanors stemming from his March 28 hit-and-run arrest.
The felony is possession of metal knuckles, with which Culliver threatened a witness following an accident. The witness tried to prevent Culliver from fleeing the scene. The misdemeanors are hit-and-run causing injury and hit-and-run causing property damage. We expect Culliver to eventually be cut by the 49ers.

CSN Bay Area considers 49ers CB Chris Culiver (knee) a candidate for a starting role in 2014.
Culliver missed the entire 2013 season with a torn ACL, but is on track to participate in the team's offseason program. With Carlos Rogers, Tarell Brown, and Eric Wright all not expected back, Culliver will be in the mix for one of the 49ers' top three cornerback spots. San Francisco also figures to add competition through the draft or free agency.
