Culliver (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
With Culliver and DeAngelo Hall (toe) both out for another game, the Redskins will likely start Bashaud Breeland (knee) and Will Blackmon at cornerback. The two replacement starters combined for 15 tackles and an interception against the Falcons last week, but they're unlikely to approach those numbers against a Jets team that prefers to run the ball.

EDGE Analysis
Culliver played through the knee injury in Week 4, but gave up two touchdowns in the process and did not look like himself. Head coach Jay Gruden said he's confident in veteran cornerback Will Blackmon, who will play in Culliver's place on Sunday.

Culliver will be suspended one game for a violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Culliver's suspension will go into effect immediately, meaning he'll be unavailable for Washington's Week 2 game against St. Louis. He's expected to be replaced in the starting lineup by Bashuad Breeland, who will come back from a one-game suspension of his own stemming from a 2014 citation for marijuana possession.

Culliver will sign a four-year contract with the Redskins, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports. The Redskins have been pretty busy in free agency, and they finally addressed their most obvious need. Culliver isn't a shutdown corner or an IDP standout, but he'll represent a major upgrade for the leaky Washington secondary. After suffering a torn ACL in 2013, the 26-year-old corner bounced back to have a career year in 2014, finishing with 45 tackles, four interceptions and 15 passes defensed in 14 games. Culliver is a lock to start for the Redskins.

Culliver finished the season on a high note, recording three tackles (all solo) and an interception in the win over the Cardinals. Culliver put together a solid season in 2014, recording 45 tackles (38 solo) and four interceptions over 14 games. He spent the majority of the season starting for the 49ers, and will likely do the same in 2015 if the team decides to re-sign him.

Culliver (knee) is listed as active Sunday against the Cardinals. Culliver will slot into his typical spot at cornerback, with a new running mate in Dontae Johnson looking to profit from the Cardinals' mistake-prone quarterback Ryan Lindley.

Culliver (knee) is active for Saturday's game against San Diego. While Culliver's presence is good news for the San Francisco pass defense, he's not likely to be a worthwhile IDP consideration.

Culliver (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against San Diego. Culliver's return should give San Francisco a boost in the secondary, but he's generally not worth IDP consideration.

Culliver (knee) is listed as inactive Sunday at Seattle. One week removed from leaving the field on a cart, Culliver will reside on the sideline with fellow cornerbacks Tramaine Brock (hamstring) and Bubba Ventrone (groin), leaving Perrish Cox, Dontae Johnson, and Leon McFadden as the sole options to man CB.
