Edmonds (ankle/knee) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the 49ers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds played through the ankle injury in last week's win over the Eagles, but he seemingly tweaked his knee along the way. With the Cardinals facing a quicker turnaround for the team's Week 16 contest, Edmonds' pair of injuries kept him sidelined in practices Tuesday and Wednesday before he returned to the field in a limited fashion Thursday. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury hasn't indicated if the limited workout will be enough for Edmonds to gain clearance for Saturday, so fantasy managers will want to check back in on the running back's status leading up to the 4:30 p.m. kickoff. If Edmonds can't go this weekend, Kenyan Drake would likely be in store for one of his biggest snap shares of the season while filling a three-down role out of the backfield.

Edmonds (ankle/knee) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Last week, Edmonds was contained to one limited practice session due to an ankle injury before he was eventually deemed active for Week 15 against the Eagles and handled his second-highest touch count (14) of the season. On this occasion, he hasn't taken the practice field yet, the result of ankle and knee issues. Edmonds has one more chance to prove his health this week before the Cardinals give him a designation for Saturday's game versus the 49ers.

Edmonds (ankle/knee) wasn't present for the media-access portion of Wednesday's practice, Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
What Edmonds is able to do at practice Thursday will thus be telling with regard to his status for Saturday's game against the 49ers. Edmonds is back on the fantasy radar heading into Week 16, after carrying 11 times for 47 yards and catching three of five his targets for 19 yards and a touchdown in this past Sunday's win over the Eagles.

Edmonds (ankle/knee) was listed as a limited participant on Tuesday's practice estimate, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The third-year running back didn't practice until Friday last week, but he recorded 66 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown while running ahead of Kenyan Drake in a win over the Eagles on Sunday. It's possible that he's following a similar regimen, although it's worth noting that the knee injury is a new addition for Edmonds. If he can get on the field by Thursday's practice, he'll have a decent chance to play Saturday against the 49ers.

Edmonds carried 11 times for 47 yards while catching three of five targets for 19 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 33-26 win over the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off a minor ankle injury, Edmonds easily out-rushed Kenyan Drake, who managed just 26 yards on 10 carries. He also garnered more targets, receptions and receiving yards while scoring his fifth touchdown of the year on a six-yard grab in the first quarter. Edmonds' superior playmaking ability in this one could earn him a few more touches next Saturday against the 49ers, but the two backs are likely to split the workload somewhat evenly.

Edmonds (ankle) is listed as active Sunday against the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
The Cardinals proceeded with caution this week, holding Edmonds out of practice until Friday, when he logged a limited session. Considered a game-time decision, he put in a pregame workout to determine whether he was fit to go on his ankle. With his status confirmed for Week 15, Edmonds will work in tandem with Kenyan Drake out of the backfield, likely capped at the 8.4 touches per game in which he's acted as the latter's backup.

Edmonds (ankle), who is listed as questionable, "plans to play" Sunday against the Eagles, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schefter also noted the 24-year-old still needs to test things out in pregame warmups, so it appears he's more of a game-time decision as previously indicated by Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com. Edmonds has played more than 50 percent of the offensive snaps in each of the past two games, but his production has been limited with 13 carries for 60 yards and six catches for 36 yards. Kenyan Drake is poised to lead Arizona's run game again Sunday and could be more involved in the passing game should Edmonds be unavailable.

Edmonds (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Philadelphia, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com suggests Edmonds could be a game-time decision, while Urban reports that the team could make a call on his status after the running back works out Saturday. Of course, the Cardinals won't necessarily broadcast their decision to the public even if they know ahead of time, so a clear read on Edmonds' status may not come until the team releases its inactive list approximately 90 minutes before the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. Kenyan Drake likely would take on extra work if Edmonds were to miss the game, while Jonathan Ward, Eno Benjamin and D.J. Foster would be the candidates for backup work.

Edmonds (ankle) returned to practice Friday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds was absent Wednesday and Thursday, but his presence on the field Friday suggests his ankle injury isn't too serious, with Urban relaying that the running back was "moving around pretty well" during the session. There was no sign of any problem last week in a 26-7 win over the Giants, as Edmonds took 11 touches for 53 yards while playing 51 percent of the Cardinals' offensive snaps. Even if he's expected to play Sunday against the Eagles, he'll likely carry a designation into the weekend after missing back-to-back practices. Kenyan Drake likely would take on more snaps if Edmonds were to miss Sunday's game.

Edmonds (ankle) was unable to practice Thursday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Edmonds kicked off the session with a workout on a side field, and ultimately he was a non-participant for a second straight day. Coach Kliff Kingsbury suggested Wednesday that Edmonds will be a game-time call for Sunday's contest against the Eagles, a decision that will be made approximately 90 minutes before the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. If Edmonds does sit out this weekend, Kenyan Drake likely will take on a larger workload than normal, considering the only other Cardinals RB to earn a touch this season is practice squad member D.J. Foster.
