Keenum is inactive for Saturday's contest versus the 49ers, Myles Simmons of the Rams' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
With a losing record assured and former head honcho Jeff Fisher out of the picture, there are no illusions remaining for the Rams in their debut season in Los Angeles. Keenum is this expendable on game day with the future in mind, allowing the QB depth chart to be headed be a rookie (Jared Goff) and second-year pro (Sean Mannion).

Keenum completed 5 of 9 passes for 32 yards in Thursday's 24-3 loss to the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Keenum made his first appearance since Week 10 in relief of Jared Goff, who exited the game late in the fourth quarter to be evaluated for a concussion. The 28-year-old, who started the first nine games of the season, would presumably suit up against the Rams in Week 16 if Goff was unable to return in time.

Keenum will serve as the Rams' backup quarterback Sunday against the Dolphins, the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
After the Rams moved up to the No. 1 spot in the 2016 NFL Draft and selected Jared Goff, it was only a matter of time before head coach Jeff Fisher put his trust in the rookie quarterback. With a 4-5 record, the team isn't out of the playoff hunt by any means, but clearly Fisher felt that Goff was ready to helm the 31st-ranked offense. The move will thus push Keenum to a backup role following a nine-game stretch in which he posted the fourth-worst QB rating (76.8) among qualified signal-callers.

Keenum completed 17 of 30 passes for 165 yards during Sunday's 9-6 win over the Jets. He also rushed five times for 11 yards.
EDGE Analysis
There were reports early Sunday that head coach Jeff Fisher was considering making a quarterback switch, possibly as early as Week 11 against the Dolphins, but Keenum played well enough Sunday to possibly get one more game ahead of rookie Jared Goff. The Rams' offense did little Sunday, as they had three drives make it within 10 yards of the end zone, only to settle for field goals each time. Even if Keenum keeps his starting job, he's a very unreliable option with fairly limited upside.

Head coach Jeff Fisher said Monday that Keenum will start in Week 10 against the Jets, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rams have made it clear they don't believe Jared Goff is ready to start, but that may not ultimately matter if the team can't hang around on the outskirts of the playoff hunt. In any case, it's not clear that Keenum will ever truly be ready to start in the NFL, as he's only shown occasional glimpses of competence this season. There's still a good chance Goff makes at least a start or two by the end of the year.

Keenum completed 27 of 46 pass attempts for 296 yards, with one touchdown and an interception in Sunday's 13-10 loss to the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Keenum struggled for the second straight game, posting just a 6.4 YPA, while leading the Rams to their only touchdown in the final minute of the fourth quarter. He should have had a touchdown pass in earlier the final period, but TE Lance Kendricks dropped a wide-open touchdown in the end zone. The Rams have been fairly competitive with a 3-5 record, so Keenum will probably get a little more time to right the ship. If he continues to be unproductive, however, chances are the team will turn to rookie Jared Goff. Next up for Keenum will be the Jets on the road.

Keenum has the support of head coach Jeff Fisher to remain the Rams' starting quarterback, ESPN's Alden Gonzalez reports.
EDGE Analysis
Keenum threw four interceptions in Los Angeles' third straight loss Sunday, entering the Rams' bye week on a sour note. Although that performance has sparked more noise for rookie No.1 pick Jared Goff to be promoted to the team's starting quarterback, coach Fisher says he's sticking with Keenum and Goff still isn't ready for the job yet. As a result, it appears the veteran Keenum will keep his spot when the Rams take the field in Week 9 against the Panthers.

Keenum completed 32 of 53 passes for 291 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions during Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Keenum recorded his second-highest yardage output of the season, but his inability to take care of the ball cost his team the game. He threw a pick-six to Landon Collins in the second quarter and threw interceptions on each of his last three drives as his team tried to move the ball in a one-score game. Keenum now has an 8:10 TD:INT ratio, and with the team on a three-game losing streak, there could be some questions to answer during the upcoming bye week.

Keenum completed 27 of 32 passes for 321 yards, three touchdowns and one interceptions in Sunday's game against the Lions. He added seven yards and a touchdown on three carries in the 31-28 loss.
EDGE Analysis
In a competitive game that was close throughout, Keenum came through with his finest performance of the season. He spread the ball around to seven different receivers, although nearly half of his yardage and two scores came from Kenny Britt. Keenum tossed multiple touchdowns for the third time this season, but he has not reached the end zone in the other three, illustrating inconsistent usage and performance to this point. However, he has had his three most prolific yardage in his last three games, with his production trending up during that span, and he will face a Giants defense in Week 7 that has been susceptible to the pass this year.

Keenum completed 21 of 31 passes for 271 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 30-19 loss to the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
One of Keenum's interceptions was returned for a touchdown, breaking a 16-16 tie in the third quarter. Before Keenum's clunker Sunday, he had played reasonably well in the previous three games, leading the Rams to three straight wins. If the former University of Houston product has a couple of more games like this, there's a good chance we'll see rookie Jared Goff. Keenum does have a very favorable matchup next week at Detroit, which hasn't stopped opposing passing games this year.
