Keenum completed 21 of 30 passes for 282 yards and two touchdowns during Thursday's 30-23 win over the Lions. He also rushed seven times for 20 yards and a score.
EDGE Analysis
This was just the fourth multi-touchdown game of the season for Keenum, but with seven consecutive wins, it's difficult to nitpick his play for the Vikings. Minnesota's bread and butter is its rushing attack and strong defense, so Keenum will likely continue to have some game-to-game inconsistency moving forward. Still, this monster showing serves as another example that he's a solid fantasy option for upcoming favorable matchups. Additionally, as long as the Vikings are winning, it would seem more and more unlikely that Teddy Bridgewater will replace Keenum under center in the immediate future.

Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer confirmed that Keenum would start Thursday's game against the Lions, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
In the days leading up to the Vikings' Week 11 game against the Rams, Zimmer was initially reluctant to commit to Keenum as the team's starting quarterback, but ultimately gave the nod to the 29-year-old. Keenum remained his typically steady self in the Vikings' 24-7 victory, completing 27 of 38 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown to earn some more leash in his starting role. While Keenum isn't a Pro Bowl-level talent, his 66 percent completion rate and 12:5 TD:INT in nine appearances this season has been more than serviceable. It may take a bad outing or two before Keenum is at serious risk of losing his job to a healthy Teddy Bridgewater.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer admitted that it would be difficult to remove Keenum from the starting role, Chip Scoggins of The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. "It's going to be hard to yank him out of there right now," Zimmer acknowledged after Sunday's 24-7 win over the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
As much as the team wants to see Teddy Bridgewater in a game, there's now way the Vikings can justify benching Keenum when he hasn't turned in a poor outing since Week 4. The team's status as a clear favorite in the NFC North and potential top-two seed means talent evaluation for the future isn't a priority. Bridgewater may still be viewed as the likely quarterback for 2017 and beyond, but he won't get a shot in a game situation unless Keenum starts to struggle or the Vikings have a meaningless Week 17 contest. Keenum figures to start in Detroit on Thanksgiving, kicking off a stretch of three straight road games against fellow NFC contenders. Thursday's game will be followed by trips to Atlanta in Week 13 and Carolina in Week 14.

Keenum completed 27 of 38 passes for 280 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's 24-7 win over the Rams. He also gained 20 yards on three rushes.
EDGE Analysis
Teddy Bridgewater's looming presence doesn't seem to have shaken up Keenum over the last two games, as he's now thrown for 584 yards and generated a 5:2 TD:INT ratio over that pair of contests. Keenum has completed better than 70 percent of his throws in both of those games as well, leading the Vikings to a pair of impressive wins. He got some help from Adam Thielen on his one touchdown Sunday, as the talented receiver took a short throw 65 yards to the house in the fourth quarter to give Minnesota a decisive 20-7 lead at the time. Given his play over the last two weeks and the team's stellar 8-2 record with him at the helm, Keenum appears to be a lock to once again be behind center against the Lions in a key Week 12 divisional road showdown.

The Vikings have confirmed that Keenum will start Sunday's home game against the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
It's not really a surprise to see Keenum retain the starting assignment this week after leading the Vikings to a 38-30 win (the team's fifth straight) over Washington in Week 10, a game in which he threw for 304 yards, to go along with four TDs and two picks. As a result, Teddy Bridgewater, who the team activated last week, will continue to serve as Keenum's backup Sunday. Keenum, who played for the Rams in 2015 and 2016, figures to be hard-pressed to approach his production last weekend though, while facing a surging Los Angeles squad that has outscored its opponents by a 117-24 mark over its last three contests.

The Vikings are expected to stick with Keenum as their starter for Week 11 against the Rams, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per ESPN.com's Courtney Cronin, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said he hasn't announced a decision to his team and doesn't plan to do so before Wednesday. It makes sense that Keenum would get at least one more start, coming off a 304-yard, four-touchdown performance in Sunday's 38-30 road win over the Redskins. The Vikings may be eager to see Teddy Bridgewater in a game, but it's tough for a division-leading team to justify benching a quarterback who's produced five consecutive victories. Keenum nonetheless remains on a short leash, in part because he, Bridgewater and Sam Bradford (knee) are all scheduled to become free agents in the offseason.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said he has a plan for Week 11 against the Rams, but he declined to specify whether than plan features Keenum or Teddy Bridgewater as the starter, ESPN.com's Courtney Cronin reports.
EDGE Analysis
Keenum completed 21 of 29 passes for 304 yards and four scores in Sunday's 38-30 win over the Redskins, but his interceptions on back-to-back drives in the second half opened a window for Washington to make a comeback. While Keenum seemingly has played well enough to keep the starting job -- at least for another week -- but the Vikings may be anxious to see how Bridgewater looks in a game for the first time since 2015. It's an unusual situation for a 7-2 team, with Keenum, Bridgewater and Sam Bradford (knee) all slated to become unrestricted free agents after the season. Minnesota's tough schedule over the next four weeks should ensure that winning continues to take precedent over talent evaluation. Of course, the Vikings can always take Bridgewater for a brief spin and then turn back to Keenum if it doesn't work out.

Keenum completed 21 of 29 passes for 304 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions in Sunday's 38-30 win over Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Washington has given plenty of top-shelf quarterbacks trouble this season, including Russell Wilson and Derek Carr. During parts of Sunday, however, Keenum -- Minnesota's starter only because of the bad knees of Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater -- looked like Joe Montana with four touchdown passes in the first 33 minutes of the game. He has now thrown multiple touchdowns in back-to-back games after just one such performance in his first six outings of the year. He cooled off in the second half and threw a pair of late interceptions to help Washington claw back into the game, but Keenum is looking good in Pat Shurmur's horizontal offense, particularly on the move, from which he tossed three of his scores. The activation of Bridgewater will draw headlines, but how itchy can Minnesota's trigger finger be when Keenum has led the team to five straight victories?

Keenum will start at quarterback Sunday in the Vikings' game against the Redskins, Dianna Russini of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Keenum has gone 4-2 in his six starts and shined in his lone appearance in relief Sam Bradford (knee) this season, completing 63.9 percent of his passes while posting a 7:3 TD:INT. Bradford hasn't made much notable progress in his recovery coming out of the Vikings' bye week and is without a timetable to return, but despite his success thus far, Keenum may soon face a new challenger for the starting role in Teddy Bridgewater (knee), who is set to be activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list Wednesday and act as the backup in Week 10. Given that Bridgewater has impressed the Vikings' brass since returning to practice in October and was once viewed as a franchise quarterback, Keenum probably won't have as much margin for error as the Vikings kick off the second half of their season. That being said, unless Keenum's performance takes a dramatic dip, it's unlikely that head coach Mike Zimmer will deviate from what has been a winning formula to date.

Keenum completed 27 of 43 passes for 288 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Sunday's 33-16 win over the Browns.
EDGE Analysis
Keenum notched a season high for pass attempts as the Browns hung close for three quarters, finishing with his second-highest yardage output of the year. While he wasn't incredibly efficient through the air, the volume played up thanks to touchdown connections with Adam Thielen and Kyle Rudolph. Keenum, who failed to top 200 yards in two of his previous three games, has yet to string together consistently effective performances as the starter this year. He's still guided the team to a four-game win streak heading into the upcoming bye, but it remains to be seen whether he or Teddy Bridgewater will get the nod in Week 10 against the Redskins.
