Keenum completed 12 of 18 passes for 148 yards in Friday's preseason game against Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Keenum played the entire first half and led the Broncos to 17 points on five drives. He was accurate throwing to all areas of the field, including a 33-yard gain on a deep ball to Emmanuel Sanders and a 27-yard gain on a back-shoulder throw to Courtland Sutton. Assuming he's held out for the final week of the exhibition slate, Keenum will finish the preseason 21-of-35 passing (60 percent) for 231 yards without any touchdowns or turnovers. The 30-year-old quarterback will start the regular season with a Week 1 home game against the Seahawks.

Keenum completed eight of 13 passes for 78 yards and a two-point conversion during Saturday's 24-23 loss to Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Keenum led Denver's offense to a touchdown and a field goal during his three drives of work, the latter two going for 21 total snaps. There is likely a throw or two that Keenum would like to have back, particularly a missed pass into the end zone to Emmanuel Sanders that forced Denver to settle for a field goal, but the game was an overall improvement for Keenum. If he's able to build on this performance in his third and likely final preseason game, he may be primed to best last season's career year.

Denver's starters, including Keenum, figure to play between a quarter and a quarter and a half Saturday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
EDGE Analysis
The extra time should be telling for Keenum and the rest of Denver's starting offense, which failed to get it going in the preseason opener. The veteran quarterback completed just one short pass during two uneventful drives against Minnesota. If he fails to do much more against Chicago, fans might hit the panic button.

Keenum completed one of four passes for five yards during Saturday's 42-28 preseason loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Keenum completed a short pass to Demaryius Thomas on his first throw of the game and then missed on his final three attempts before leaving the game after two unsuccessful drives. Denver reportedly treated the contest as an opportunity to test out specific concepts as opposed to going up against an opposing team. A clearer sense as to how Keenum is performing in Denver should come into greater focus in the coming week or two as the coaching staff seeks to establish the offense's in-season identity.

Keenum was lockstep with his receivers on Sunday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports
EDGE Analysis
Several reporters have noted the reduction in balls hitting the turf to start this training camp as compared to those in recent years. Keenum's strengths are his quickness and accuracy, which play into what should be a horizontal Denver offense this season. That doesn't mean, however, that fans should expect Keenum to be Captain Checkdown. The veteran quarterback reportedly hit several receivers, including Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders deep during Sunday's practice. All signs currently point to a significant upgrade at quarterback for the Broncos this season.

Offensive Coordinator Bill Musgrave's offense should be full of quick, short throws that could boost Keenum's completion percentage, just as Musgrave helped improve Derek Carr's completion percentage, Tyler Polumbus of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Polumbus traced some of Musgrave's past stops to predict that this year's Broncos offense is likely to resemble former head coach Gary Kubiak's West Coast attack simplified and sped up similar to how Chip Kelly ran things with Musgrave on staff in Philadelphia in 2014. The prediction makes sense, especially given the fact that Musgrave played under Kubiak in Denver and has reportedly chatted with his former coach regularly throughout the offseason. This should be welcome news for Keenum, who got his start in the NFL with the Texans under Kubiak. Keenum ranked second in the NFL with a 67.6% completion rate in 2017, so he doesn't have quite the room for improvement a young Derek Carr had a few seasons ago. Still, an offense built around quick passes and run-pass options seems like a strong fit for somebody of Keenum's accuracy and mobility.

Keenum has received all of the repetitions with the first-team offense during organized team activities, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Unlike last offseason, the Broncos are committing to an established starter -- Keenum -- which makes offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave a happy coach. "Case is working hard," Musgrave said. "It's a new system for him, it's a new system for everybody. Case is getting - exclusively - all the reps with the ones. We're not splitting them like you would if you didn't have an established starter, so he's getting more concentrated work, and it's paying dividends." The approach last year, when Trevor Sieman, Brock Osweiler and Paxton Lynch all had turns with the ones resulted in the Broncos ranking 20th in passing offense en route to a 5-11 record. The trio combined to throw 19 touchdown passes, 25th in the NFL. With Keenum locked in as the starter, the team's receivers can focus on building chemistry with just one quarterback during OTAs.

Keenum's two-year contract with the Broncos is official, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off a shocking breakout season, Keenum joins another team with a potent wideout duo and promising defense, though it's still an overall downgrade in supporting cast. This doesn't preclude the Broncos from using an early draft pick on a quarterback, but it's safe to assume Keenum will get the Week 1 start. Denver still appears to need a tight end, a No. 3 receiver and a couple more starting-caliber offensive linemen.

Keenum intends to sign with Denver when free agency begins Wednesday, ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
It sounds like the Vikings are set to sign Kirk Cousins and Keenum will thus move to Denver and sign a short-term deal. However, none of this is official and players could change their minds before signings can officially begin Wednesday. Keenum threw for 3,547 yards and 22 touchdowns in leading the Vikings to the NFC Championship game.

Keenum could draw interest from the Broncos, Browns, Cardinals and Vikings, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the Vikings shaping up as the early favorites for Kirk Cousins, it won't come as any surprise if Keenum is forced to find a new team. In addition to the franchises mentioned above, the Jets and Bills figure to be in the market for quarterbacks. Keenum will be an unrestricted free agent when the new league year begins March 14.
