Meredith caught six passes for 72 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Lions.
EDGE Analysis
Meredith not only scored the only offensive touchdown for the Bears, but he also led the team with eight targets. Even though Alshon Jeffery is expected back from his suspension next week, Meredith is emerging as a reliable target for quarterback Matt Barkley. He'd be a risky player to start at this stage of the fantasy playoffs, but he's posted at least 49 yards in three of his last four games while also adding two touchdowns, so he could prove useful in a pinch.

Meredith caught three passes for 67 yards Sunday against the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
The Bears piled up almost all of their passing yardage on three straight drives, and Meredith was the second-most productive receiver on the team despite being targeted just four times. Although the 67 yards he posted were the most he's had in his last six games, he's recorded at least 49 yards in three of his last four games, making him a reasonable flex option in larger leagues.

Meredith caught two passes for 19 yards Sunday against the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
Although Meredith was targeted nine times, he was one of four Chicago receivers to have that many, though he was easily the least productive of the quartet. With each passing week, it's appearing more unlikely that he'll regain the success he enjoyed when Brian Hoyer was at quarterback.

Meredith caught four passes for 49 yards Sunday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The good news was that Meredith was the second-most targeted Bear with four looks, but he was far from being a focal point of the offense. Should Zach Miller miss time with a foot injury he suffered in this contest, Meredith certainly could see an increase in production, but otherwise it might be difficult to count on him as more than a flex option until Alshon Jeffery returns from his suspension.

Meredith caught one pass for 50 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
After Meredith broke out with Brian Hoyer at quarterback, he's now been targeted exactly twice in each of his last three contests. Although his 50-yard touchdown reception looks great in the box score, it came on a Hail Mary pass at the end of the first half, and it definitely isn't a sign that he's back to fantasy relevance. It's extremely unlikely that he'll see enough targets in the near future to be any type of consistent fantasy contributor.

Meredith caught one of his two targets for 24 yards Monday against the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
With Jay Cutler starting at quarterback, Meredith was an afterthought in the Bears' passing attack, as Zach Miller and Alshon Jeffery had 18 targets between them. Despite his inactivity in the contest, he was on the field for all but eight offensive snaps, so he was a full-time player. Meredith will be a very risky lineup option after the team's Week 9 bye, especially while Cutler is under center.

Meredith (shoulder) is listed as active for Monday's game versus the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
Limited by a shoulder injury during Week 8 prep, Meredith will likely have difficulty rekindling his 100-yard performances from Weeks 5 and 6 against Minnesota's fourth-ranked pass defense. There's also the caveat of Jay Cutler's (thumb) return to action after working with Brian Hoyer (forearm), which places a cloud over Meredith's viability.

Meredith (shoulder) is questionable for Monday's Week 8 matchup with Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Meredith was limited in practice all week while dealing with an unspecified shoulder injury. He had turned in two consecutive 100-yard games prior to being shut down by the Packers, and he could see another strong game now that Jay Cutler is healthy again. If he's held out look for Deonte Thompson and Josh Bellamy to see some extra snaps.

Meredith was limited in Thursday's practice by a shoulder injury, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
After back-to-back 100-yard efforts, Meredith was a non-factor last Thursday in Green Bay, hauling in one of two passes for 12 yards. The loss of Brian Hoyer to a broken forearm may have been the mitigating factor, as the dropoff from Hoyer to Matt Barkley was staggering. Meredith will now work with Jay Cutler following the QB's lengthy recovery from a sprained thumb, but it remains to be seen how he'll fare with the long-time Bears signal-caller. With a shoulder injury also in tow, Meredith's prospects aren't as bright as they were less than two weeks ago.

Meredith caught one of two targets for 12 yards Thursday against the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
Meredith was facing a depleted Packers' secondary, but the Bears' passing game never got on track in this contest, even before quarterback Brian Hoyer left the game with a broken arm. After he left, the offense had no legitimate chance to move the ball with Matt Barkley under center, making Meredith a non-factor. After taking the fantasy world by storm with 243 yards in his first two starts of the year, he quickly showed everyone his downside. If Jay Cutler takes back the quarterback job, he should continue to have value as a third wide receiver with plenty of upside on fantasy teams, but if Barkley keeps the job, his upside will likely vanish.
