Meredith caught two of his four targets for 26 yards Saturday against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Meredith led the team in targets, and was clearly used as the team's top option in the passing attack. He was also targeted on a deep pass down the left sideline by Mike Glennon, but after Meredith got past his defender, the cornerback took a holding penalty rather than allowing the receiver to make a big play. He's still looking like a great upside pick in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts.

Meredith was targeted twice, but failed to record reception, Thursday against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Meredith technically didn't get the start, as the Bears lined up with three tight ends on the opening snap along with Kevin White as the wide receiver in the formation. He did, however, play the rest of the snaps with the starters, and he was targeted once on a deep pass, but the ball was slightly underthrown. He projects to be the top fantasy option at receiver on for Chicago, and his preseason performance should have little to no impact on his draft value.

Meredith is clearly on the same page with starting quarterback Mike Glennon, Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
During practice, Meredith was one of Glennon's favorite targets, and the duo connected on a pair of big plays, even though the quarterback missed Meredith when he was open on a deep pass down the left seam. Meredith is currently being selected about 99 picks into average fantasy drafts, and could be a draft-day steal as a lead receiver. Despite the Bears projecting to be a run-first offense, there'll be plenty of opportunities for the passing game to prosper against defenses that put extra defenders in the box to try and slow down Jordan Howard.

Meredith (thumb) is on the field for the Bears first practice of training camp Wednesday, Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After injuring a ligament in his thumb earlier in the offseason, Meredith was able to recover in time to find himself on the field for the start of training camp. He'll look to follow up his breakout campaign on 2016 when he caught 66 passes for 888 yards and four touchdowns, and with Alshon Jeffery now in Philadelphia, he certainly could become the Bears top option in the passing game. He's a player who's flying under the radar in many fantasy drafts, but he has the potential to finish as a top-24 option at wide receiver, especially in leagues that award a point per reception.

Head coach John Fox said Tuesday that Meredith (thumb) will likely be healthy by training camp, Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fox also noted the thumb in question, stating the ligament injury in Meredith's left thumb is "fixable." While Meredith was able to get in some work with quarterbacks Mike Glennon and Mitchell Trubisky in the first half of the offseason program, the wideout nonetheless joined fellow wideouts Kevin White (leg) and Markus Wheaton (shoulder) in the recovery room. The Bears' expected top trio at wide receiver, Meredith, White and Wheaton will wait to show their wares until training camp.

Meredith injured a ligament in his thumb and will miss the remainder of the offseason program, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear how Meredith suffered the injury, but he's expected to return in time for training camp. Meredith is one of the Bears starting wide receivers and his absence from the offseason program will open the door for Markus Wheaton, Kendall Wright, and Victor Cruz to see extra reps.

Meredith and Kevin White (leg) project as the Bears' starting wide receivers, CSN Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chicago's signing of Markus Wheaton pales in comparison to the loss of Alshon Jeffery, leaving Meredith as the early favorite for No. 1 receiver duties. 2015 first-round selection Kevin White is also expected to occupy a key role, but he's only made four appearances through his first two years in the league. Meredith flashed lead-dog potential in a weak Chicago offense last season, recording four games with at least nine receptions, 12 targets and 104 yards. He also had some duds along the way, but most of those came earlier in the season before his role truly expanded. Meredith should get plenty attention from new Bears QB Mike Glennon.

Meredith caught four passes for 61 yards and threw a two-yard touchdown pass in Sunday's loss to the Vikings to give him 66 receptions for 888 yards and four touchdowns on the season.
EDGE Analysis
With Alshon Jeffery scheduled to hit free agency this off-season, the Bears will likely feel comfortable allowing Meredith to take over as the team's top receiving option after breaking out in 2016. His production was extremely impressive because he only had five games in which he was targeted more than four times, and he averaged 111 yards while scoring three touchdowns in those contests. He certainly looks as if he'll be a player to target in the fourth or fifth round of 2017 fantasy drafts as a second wide receiver.

Meredith caught nine passes for 135 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's defeat to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Meredith ran the majority of his routes from the slot, and Washington had no answer for him. He just missed on a second touchdown, when he was dragged down at the one-yard line late in the first half. However, with the Bears playing from way behind for the entire second half, he was able to pile up plenty of numbers with his team-high 12 targets. He'll be a fantastic option in Week 17, as he'll likely avoid Xavier Rhodes when the Bears face the Vikings.

Meredith caught nine passes for 104 yards in Sunday's defeat against the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
Meredith was having a fairly quiet afternoon until the Bears fell behind 27-10 late in the third quarter, and then he was able to amass a team-high 13 targets. As a result, he was one of three Chicago receivers to pile up at least 89 yards in the losing effort. He's posted at least 67 yards in each of his last three games, and his Week 16 matchup against Washington has him looking like a strong flex option with upside.
