Watson (calf/head) isn't practicing Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Watson entered Sunday's 26-9 loss to the Steelers with a calf injury and briefly left the game to be evaluated for a concussion. He returned to the contest and finished with five catches for 43 yards on six targets, but it appears he's still a bit banged up. Watson draws a favorable Week 5 matchup with an Oakland defense that's giving up 8.4 yards per target to tight ends. With Maxx Williams (foot) still unable to practice, a Watson absence would leave Nick Boyle as the team's only healthy tight end with significant NFL experience.

Watson brought in five of six targets for 43 yards in Sunday's loss to the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran continues to be a reliable safety valve for quarterback Joe Flacco and has now caught 16 of 18 targets on the season. While Watson does have a nice floor due to his solid volume for a tight end, the Ravens' inability to sustain drives cuts down on Watson's red zone targets. In fact, just one of Watson's targets this season have come in the red zone. He'll face an Oakland secondary that has had some difficulty containing opposing tight ends when the Ravens face the Raiders in Week 5.

Watson (calf) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
Watson missed the first two practices of the week, but logged a full session Friday and will suit up for the Week 4 contest. The tight end was the only Raven to find the endzone in last week's disastrous loss to Jacksonville, and he led the team with eight targets in their Week 2 tilt against Cleveland. Watson has established himself as the top tight end on the depth chart, and through four games, is third on the team with 12 total targets. The 36-year-old should once again have a role Sunday against the Steelers, who have allowed just one touchdown to opposing tight ends on the year.

Watson (calf) is expected to play Sunday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
EDGE Analysis
Apparently it took the entire week to reduce the swelling in the calf, but Watson should be good to go. He's been one of Joe Flacco's primary targets so far this season.

Watson (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh, but he said he'll be fine to play, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
After missing practice the previous two days, Watson returned as a full participant Friday. He caught eight passes for 91 yards Week 2 against Cleveland, but he had just three catches for 12 yards and a touchdown on three targets in Baltimore's other two games. Given his role as the Ravens' top pass-catching tight end, Watson should eventually find some semblance of consistency, though he's unlikely to be prolific as the third or fourth option in a struggling passing game.

Watson (calf) took part in Friday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Watson did not practice the previous two days, but he was able to get some work in at Friday's session, so he should have a chance to play Sunday against the Steelers. His Week 4 status will be revealed when the Ravens release their final injury report of the week at some point Friday.

Watson (calf) did not practice Thursday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Back-to-back missed practice sessions thus cloud Watson's availability for Sunday's game against the Steelers, though a return to practice in any capacity Friday would brighten his Week 4 outlook. With Maxx Williams also not practicing Thursday, Nick Boyle currently profiles at the team's top healthy tight end.

Watson (calf) did not practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Watson is making his first appearance on the injury report this season, after catching three passes for 12 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-7 loss to the Jaguars. Given that his touchdown came on Baltimore's meaningless final drive, it's safe to assume the calf injury wasn't viewed as a major issue Sunday. A return to practice in any capacity Thursday would put Watson on track for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh. His role as Baltimore's top tight end appears secure, but his eight-catch Week 2 performance looks like a clear outlier. Watson had just three targets combined in the team's other two games.

Watson caught three passes for 12 yards and a touchdown on three targets in Sunday's 44-7 loss to the Jaguars in London.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off an eight-catch, 91-yard Week 2 performance, Watson was a complete non-factor until he caught a six-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Mallett in the closing minutes of the game. The 36-year-old is locked in as Baltimore's primary pass-catching tight end, but the role has led to just 12 targets in three games, with Week 2 looking like a major outlier. It'll be tough to trust any piece of the Baltimore offense heading into a Week 4 matchup with the Steelers.

Watson caught all eight of his targets for 91 yards during Sunday's 24-10 win over Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
This was a monster showing after Watson received just a single target last week against the Bengals. The Ravens leaned on their ground game again Sunday, and with consecutive wins, they're unlikely to significantly change their game script moving forward. As a result, Watson's unlikely to be a reliable fantasy option from week to week. However, he's definitely a tight end to keep tabs on and could continue to be more involved in the passing game moving forward following Sunday's strong outing.
