Andre Johnson (shin, questionable) told reporters Friday he will play Sunday against St. Louis. Coach Gary Kubiak called Johnson a game-time decision on Thursday, but Johnson says he feels better this week than last and will be all systems go against St. Louis' leaky pass defense. Playing through the same shin injury in Week 5, Johnson managed three catches for 39 scoreless yards at Candlestick, but that was primarily due to Houston's passing-game dysfunction. Johnson is a good bet to bounce back this week. He's an every-week WR1.

According to Texans coach Gary Kubiak, Andre Johnson (hamstring) missed the "bulk" of Thursday's practice, and will be a game-time decision against the Rams.

Andre Johnson caught just three passes for 39 yards in Sunday night's Week 5 blowout loss to the 49ers. Johnson hauled in just three of his ten targets. He was the target on two of Matt Schaub's interceptions then dropped a potential 23-yard touchdown on one of the others. On the potential score, Johnson went up with just one hand instead of both for some odd reason. Look for him to shred the Rams in Week 6.

Andre Johnson (shin) and LT Duane Brown (toe) are both active and will start Sunday night's Week 5 game against the 49ers. Both were listed as questionable but were expected to play all along. The Texans' inactives: RG Brandon Brooks, QB Case Keenum, WR Lestar Jean, ILB Tim Dobbins, T Andrew Gardner, DE Sam Montgomery, and DE Tim Jamison.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak confirmed Friday Andre Johnson (shin) will play in Week 5 against the 49ers barring unforeseen setbacks. "Andre, unless there's a setback or something tomorrow, looks fine," Kubiak said. "He took a lot more today in practice. We're heading in the right direction right there." Johnson is a plug-and-play WR1 against San Francisco.

Andre Johnson (leg) was limited in Thursday's practice. The Texans are just managing Johnson's reps after he played through a shin injury in Week 4. He's ready to roll against the 49ers.

Andre Johnson (shin) is active and will start Sunday's Week 4 game versus Seattle. As expected. Johnson said he was at about 80 percent on Friday, but he's toughing through the lower-leg injury and will give it a go against Richard Sherman, Brandon Browner, and the Legion of Boom. Johnson is more WR2 than WR1 this week, but he's a must-start because he sees so many targets.

Andre Johnson (shin) said he was "about 80 percent" as of Friday. Johnson is fully expected to play through a questionable tag in Sunday's 1pm ET game against the Seahawks. Despite not being 100 percent and playing against the dominant corner duo of Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner, Johnson needs to be in fantasy lineups. He currently ranks 3rd in the NFL in catches (25), 7th in targets (35) and 17th in yards (258).

Andre Johnson (probable, shin) confirmed Friday he will start in Week 4 against the Seahawks. "I was able to improve a lot in practice (Thursday)," Johnson said. "Before that, I wasn't sure, but practicing seemed to help it (bruise) a lot. I'm doing a whole lot better. I'll be ready to go." Consider Johnson a high-end to mid-range WR2 against the Seahawks' physical secondary at Reliant Stadium.
