Wesley Matthews suffered an apparent right ankle injury in the third quarter of Friday's game against the Jazz and went to the locker room. He was driving to the basket and he suffered an ankle inversion. Wes immediately grabbed his ankle in pain and had to be helped off the court by Jared Jeffries and J.J. Hickson. He was replaced by Luke Babbitt and we'll update you when we know more.

Wesley Matthews hit 5-of-15 shots and three 3-pointers on his way to 17 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals in Tuesday's comeback win over the Mavericks. Matthews was great tonight, despite the poor shooting, and bounced back nicely from Sunday's 7-point game. Keep him in your lineup, along with anyone else who starts for the bench-less Blazers.

Wesley Matthews scored 17 points and hit three 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Wizards on Monday. He's definitely back from his hip injury and over his last four games he averaged 17.3 points with 2.5 triples. Wes should be in all lineups. Damian Lillard had a rough first half, but finished strong and put up 18 points, three rebounds, five assists and two 3-pointers in the loss.

Wesley Matthews was the hero of Thursday's win over the Heat with 18 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and three 3-pointers in 40 minutes. He was terrific late in the fourth quarter. Matthews hit a 3-pointer to tie the game with 56 second left then buried a 24-foot jumper with 26 seconds left to put the Blazers up for good. His owners have to be thrilled to have him back and hopefully his hip injury won't flare up on him.

Wesley Matthews scored 24 points in the Blazers' overtime win on Monday, hitting 7-of-11 shots (including four threes) with three rebounds, four assists, one steal, and two blocks in 42 minutes. Matthews also hit 6-of-8 foul shots and if there was any doubt about his condition following a hip ailment he dismissed it this week. He should be in most lineups going forward.

Wesley Matthews proved again that his hip injury is behind him, scoring 26 points on 8-of-15 shooting, with five 3-pointers, to help the Blazers knock off the Wolves on Saturday. Matthews even played some solid defense against the Wolves' power forwards, and his past two games have slammed shut the buy-low window in fantasy leagues.

Wesley Matthews scored 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting (including five threes) with two rebounds, four assists, and three steals in 39 minutes on Friday. Matthews was struggling with a hip injury but it was only a matter of time before he got back on track. He should be in all active lineups going forward.

Wesley Matthews had 12 points, two rebounds, four assists, a steal and two 3-pointers on 4-of-7 shooting in Wednesday's ugly loss to the Raptors. Matthews has now played in back-to-back games after returning from his hip injury and should be safe to get back into lineups, despite his low production in those two games.

Wesley Matthews played 30 minutes in his return from a hip injury and had eight points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal on 3-of-6 shooting. Matthews is hopefully back to stay and he'll be better than this on most nights. Keep him in your lineup.

Wesley Matthews (hip) will play in Tuesday's game against the Knicks. Matthews had missed the last four games and six of the last nine. He'll immediately return to the starting lineup and is a good bet for 30-plus minutes barring an aggravation. Victor Claver returns to a bench role.
