Tony Allen (hand) "sounds doubtful" to play on Tuesday, according to Spurs beat writer Jeff McDonald.
We'll wait to hear from the Grizzlies' side before reaching any conclusions, but owners should consider their options if Allen is forced out again. Recently acquired Courtney Lee will be active but it's unclear whether he'll actually take the court.

Tony Allen (hand) will not play vs. the Pistons on Sunday, and Mike Miller will take his place in the starting lineup.
Allen's absence comes out of nowhere and it leaves some owners scrambling to adjust lineups before the Grizzlies 1pm tip-off. With Miller starting at SG, both Jerryd Bayless and James Johnson should take on bigger roles off the bench.

Tony Allen played just 13 minutes in Thursday's win over the Suns, finishing with two points.
Mike Miller got 33 minutes and finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Jerryd Bayless saw 31 minutes and hit 6-of-11 shots for 17 points, four assists and three 3-pointers. Allen has been pretty quiet lately, scoring eight or fewer in four of his last five, and since there's no word of an injury, it's hard to have much faith in him right now.

Tony Allen set a new season-high with 19 points vs. the Knicks on Saturday, adding eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and only one turnover as the Grizzlies came out of MSG with a victory.
Allen is now averaging 17.0 points in the past three games, and he made 8-of-13 FGs and 3-of-3 FTs vs. New York. He tweaked his ankle during this game but didn't miss a beat, and his cut finger didn't limit him, so we're leaving him off the injury report unless a pessimistic update surfaces prior to Monday's game.

Tony Allen (finger) will play in Saturday's game despite getting three stitches on Wednesday.
Allen has stepped up for the short-handed Grizzlies lately, scoring a season-high 16 points in each of the past two games, while averaging 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals. Mike Conley's probable return will limit his touches somewhat, but he still belongs in active fantasy lineups.

Tony Allen grabbed 10 offensive boards in Wednesday's game at Dallas before a cut on his finger ended his night, finishing with 16 points, 11 boards, three boards and three steals in 33 minutes.
He needed three stitches on his pinkie and he said the cut was "to the white meat" of his finger. Allen had some bandaging on his finger and hopes to play on Saturday. The Grizzlies really need him with their team extremely banged up and they've had to count on rookies like Jamaal Franklins (three points in 10 minutes) and Nick Calathes (no points and four assists in 18 minutes). As tonight's line clearly shows, the Grindfather is worth owning in standard leagues.

Tony Allen hit 6-of-13 shots for 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block in Tuesday's loss to the Lakers.
Mike Conley was out and Allen looked as good as he has all year tonight. If Conley is out again on Wednesday with his thigh injury, Allen might make for a good daily start. The points, rebounds and assists tonight either tied or set season highs for Allen, so don't get used to him doing this on a regular basis, especially once Conley is back.

Tony Allen played 24 minutes in his return from a hip injury on Friday and had six points, five boards and two assists against the Pelicans.
The Grizzlies have been extremely shorthanded with Allen out, but it wasn't enough to get him back with their fourth loss in five games. Allen failed to record a steal for just the second time all season and tonight snapped a five-game streak of him scoring in double figures while he's been active. His 2.2 steals per game on the season give him low-level value in standard leagues.

Tony Allen (hip) and Ed Davis (ankle) will return to the lineup on Friday night.
He missed four games due to a hip injury and the Wizards have come up with some patchwork lineups without him. Jerryd Bayless and Nick Calathes will likely see less playing time with Allen ready to go.

Tony Allen (hip) participated in Friday's shootaround and he's expected to return to action vs. the Pelicans.
The Grizzlies are 1-3 in Allen's absence and they're allowing 102.5 points per game, far above than their season average. His return will allow Jerryd Bayless to shift back to his usual spot as the first guard off the bench.
