Duncan (knee) returned to action in Saturday's 121-103 win over the Rockets, but was held without a point (0-3 FG) for the first time in his 19-year career. He collected four rebounds and two assists in 14 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Duncan, who had missed the Spurs' previous three games -- one for rest purposes and the other due to a sore right knee -- wasn't particularly aggressive on the offensive end, which was just fine for San Antonio while the shots were falling for Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge, and David West. The future Hall of Famer had previously scored at least one point in his previous 1,359 contests, marking the most consecutive games with a point of any player to begin his career.

Duncan (knee) will play Saturday against the Rockets, Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duncan has been battling soreness in his right knee, and missed three straight games. However, this is the Spurs and coach Gregg Popovich is used to resting his veteran players so that they might be at full strength for the playoffs. With Duncan back, expect David West to return to a bench role.

Duncan (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Suns, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
This will be Duncan's third straight miss due to soreness in his right knee. When asked if the injury was starting to become a concern, head coach Greg Popovich said "No". David West will get the start in Duncan's place. It appears that the Spurs are erring on the side of caution when it comes to Duncan's injury in order to ensure he'll be available later in the season, which has been a recurring trend through the first third of the season. His next chance to play will be on Saturday against the Rockets.

Duncan (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Suns, Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duncan's sore right knee isn't believed to be a serious concern, but with the Suns center tandem of Alex Len and Tyson Chandler not likely to pose much of a threat to the Spurs, there's a chance the aging big man could sit out a third straight game. The Spurs should release an update on Duncan's availability -- or lack thereof -- following their shootaround Wednesday morning.

Duncan will not play Monday due to soreness in his right knee.
EDGE Analysis
This will be the second consecutive game missed for Duncan. He sat out Saturday, but the only reason given for his absence was that it was for rest purposes. It now appears that his knee is not fully healthy. The Spurs are likely being cautious with their star veteran, but it is still a situation to monitor. Duncan's next opportunity to play will be Saturday versus Houston.

Duncan (rest) will not play Saturday, as the Spurs welcome the Nuggets to San Antonio.
EDGE Analysis
This will be the fourth time this season the Spurs have chosen to rest their star veteran. It does not come as much of a surprise considering how close the game is to Christmas, and owners were certainly aware Duncan would occasionally sit out games to rest. He should return Monday when the Spurs welcome the Timberwolves to town.

Duncan scored 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-4 FT), grabbed 11 rebounds, and dished three assists in 32 minutes during the Spurs' 88-84 loss versus the Rockets on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Duncan delivered his seventh double-double of the season, and he also saw 30 or minutes for the seventh time as well. He has played 20 or fewer minutes four times, but he has also appeared in all but three of the Spurs' 31 games thus far. Duncan is no longer the dominant double-double machine he was during the majority of his career, but he is still an efficient and valuable contributor on both ends of the floor.

Duncan will be rested Wednesday night against the Wizards, Mike Monroe of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duncan will take the night off, as the Spurs continue to work in rest days intermittently for the 39-year-old. Duncan's minutes have been slashed this season, and he's averaging just 9.0 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, though he maintains a healthy 17.80 PER. Coach Gregg Popovich has not announced who will start in Duncan's place, but Matt Bonner, David West and Boban Marjanovic are the primary candidates.

Duncan posted five points (2-2 FG, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, and one assist in 18 minutes in Monday's 118-81 win against the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Duncan has now posted just eight, five, four, and five points over the last four games, and he's clearly being rested on nights that don't require him to play a lot to win. The Spurs have been blowing out teams pretty frequently over the past few weeks, so this is expected. Although he has the capability to put up solid rebounding and block numbers, he probably won't see too many minutes down the stretch in an effort to rest for the playoffs, so he's not the best fantasy option at this point.

Duncan will be rested for Monday's game against Philadelphia, Jeff McDonald of the Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the lowly 76ers on the schedule, the Spurs will take advantage of the matchup to rest the veteran Duncan, who's averaged 27.4 minutes per game in 20 contests this season. Coach Gregg Popovich has not announced who will start in Duncan's place, but he did reveal Kyle Anderson will start at small forward with Kawhi Leonard (illness) out.
