Duncan (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Duncan will miss his fourth straight game due to soreness in his right knee. The timetable for Duncan's return remains unclear, but the Spurs don't appear to be in any rush to get the 39-year-old back on the court, as they don't want to risk the injury becoming more serious. The Spurs will likely keep David West in the starting lineup as long as Duncan remains sidelined.

Duncan (knee) will sit out Saturday's matchup with the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
It will be the third straight absence for Duncan, who missed Monday's blowout loss to Golden State, as well as Wednesday's win over Houston. Initially, it appeared the Spurs may have been up to their old tricks in holding Duncan out of a big game, but coach Gregg Popovich has since insisted that the 39-year-old is dealing with legitimate soreness in his knee. Duncan sitting out a third straight game would seem to back up that claim, and the Spurs will likely go with either Kyle Anderson or David West in his place Saturday. Anderson started Wednesday's game, while West got the nod Monday.

Duncan (knee) has been ruled out of Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
Duncan will miss his second game in row due to soreness in his right knee. Head coach Greg Popovich suggested the knee injury is more than just maintenance for the 39-year-old center, but the severity of it is still relatively unknown. No timetable has been given for Duncan's situation. The earliest he could return would be Saturday, when the Spurs take on the Cavaliers, which gives the veteran some time to nurse his knee. In the meantime, look for David West to take over the starting center role.

Coach Gregg Popovich suggested that Duncan's absence from Monday's 120-90 loss to the Warriors due to what was describe as right knee soreness was more than just a maintenance day for the 39-year-old, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duncan had actually made the trip with the Spurs to Oakland after playing 21 minutes in Friday's win over the Lakers, but headed back to San Antonio on Saturday to address the sore knee. The future Hall of Famer has experienced issues with his left knee throughout his career, but this is the first season he's been troubled by the right knee, which also cost him three games in December. The Spurs will have to wait and see if the day off Monday provided Duncan with enough recovery time in advance of Wednesday's game against the Rockets, but if not, David West would likely get another look in a starting role.

Duncan has been ruled out of Monday's game against the Warriors due to soreness in his right knee, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duncan sat out of Thursday's win over the Suns in order to rest but was back out on the court Friday night to help the Spurs defeat the Lakers. The injury is likely a result of wear and tear on the 39-year-old during the season. The Spurs will opt to rest their star center in order to prevent any further injuries from manifesting. Look for Boris Diaw and Boban Marjanovic to see increased action on Monday as a result.

Duncan (rest) will return to the starting lineup Friday versus the Lakers, Mike Trudell of ESPN Los Angeles reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duncan sat out Thursday's game to rest, but will return to action Friday. It is no surprise that Duncan will sit out one end of back-to-back's on occasion, and that is the case here. LaMarcus Aldridge is out Friday, so Duncan may be relied on a little more offensively than usual.

Duncan will get the night off for rest Thursday against the Suns, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duncan has played in 36 of 42 games so far this season, but he'll get another night off Thursday for rest. With Duncan on the sideline, look for LaMarcus Aldridge, Boris Diaw and Matt Bonner to see an increase in minutes in the frontcourt. Duncan should be back in the starting lineup for the second of back-to-back games against the Lakers on Friday.

Duncan did it all in Tuesday's 109-99 win over the Pistons, scoring 14 points to go along with nine rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks during 30 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
The rest is certainly helping Duncan's old legs as the future hall of famer was back to being productive Tuesday. Duncan should continue to see more rest, but when he's in the lineup he's a strong play, particularly in daily formats.

Duncan scored 18 points (8-13 FG, 2-2 FT) with eight rebounds, six assists, and a steal over 26 minutes in a 123-98 victory over the Jazz on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Impressively, Duncan amassed a new season-high scoring total inside of three quarters. Departing with a comfortable 92-65 lead in the third quarter, Duncan ceded minutes to the likes of Matt Bonner and Rasual Butler as San Antonio completed their drubbing of Utah. With coach Gregg Popovich giving LaMarcus Aldridge a night of rest on Wednesday, it wouldn't be surprising to see Duncan receive the same treatment in the near future.

Duncan delivered 14 points (7-12 FG, 0-1 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block in 27 minutes during the Spurs' 123-98 win over the Bucks on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Duncan was held scoreless for the first time in his 1,360 career games during Saturday's win versus the Rockets. However, he mustered up a vintage showing on Monday against the Bucks. The Big Fundamental will be rested by coach Gregg Popovich to keep him fresh for the playoffs, and Duncan is no longer a top offensive option for the Spurs. However, he is still capable of turning back the clock on any given night.
