Tim Duncan (sore left knee), Tony Parker (sore neck) and Kawhi Leonard (sore left knee) have all been ruled out for Monday's game at Golden State. It appears that Gregg Popovich has decided to roll as the No. 2 seed in the West, as the Thunder are clearly in the driver's seat to take it with this news. Boris Diaw is also out, Maun Ginobili isn't expected to play, and Stephen Jackson has been waived, meaning guys like Danny Green, Tiago Splitter, DeJuan Blair and any number of backup point guards could have big lines tonight.

Tim Ducan led the Spurs with 23 points on 11-of-22 shooting, 10 boards, four assists, one steal and three blocks on Sunday, but it wasn't enough to defeat the playoff-hungry Lakers. Duncan's old-school post game was clicking tonight, but the rest of his teammates combined to shoot 22-of-67 from the field. Fantasy owners should already be checking daily for updates on Duncan's status, and the risk of a DNP remains sky-high for the second of back-to-back games on Monday.

Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 17 points on 7-of-14 shooting Wednesday, but added just three rebounds, two assists and a block in 27 minutes as the Spurs lost to the Nuggets. The Spurs are reeling, losing four of their last six games, and now are now looking likely to fall behind the Thunder and finish as the No. 2 seed in the West. That would mean they'll face the Rockets instead of (potentially) the Lakers, which could be a blessing in disguise. But with Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Stephen Jackson and Boris Diaw all banged up, and the Spurs limping home, it will be interesting to see if Gregg Popovich throws in the towel and gives Duncan a rest before the playoffs.

The Spurs hung on for a two-point win vs. the Hawks on Saturday, led by Tim Duncan's monster 31 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and four boards. Father Time made 12-of-21 FGs and 7-of-8 FTs in just 33 minutes, before exiting to a standing ovation. Fantasy owners may have joined in the applause, as Duncan has now posted back-to-back gems after a diastrous start to April.

Tim Duncan played 35 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday and had 24 points, 11 boards and three blocks on 9-of-19 from the field. He played just 13 minutes on Wednesday and it would appear that was by design from Gregg Popovich to prepare for this game. Duncan is going to yo-yo in and out of the lineup, but this is what his owners signed for. He'll be worth starting most nights, but his owners will have to stay abreast of the updates on the Big Fundamental.

Tim Duncan started Wednesday's win over the Magic, but played just 13 minutes for rest purposes. Owners of all Spurs' players have to know things like this are going to happen. But with Duncan, it's expected. The Spurs play the Thunder on a Thursday TNT game, so coach Gregg Popovich was simply trying to keep the Big Fundamental fresh. He should play something closer to 30 minutes in that one.

Tim Duncan (knee) should be in the lineup Wednesday night against the Magic. Duncan did not play Monday but the Spurs need him in the lineup Wednesday with Kawhi Leonard (knee) and Tony Parker (ankle) both resting. Expect this to be the case with the Spurs for the rest of the regular season as Gregg Popovich does everything he can to rest his players before the playoffs. We expect the Spurs to lean heavily on Duncan tonight.

Tim Duncan (knee) and Kawhi Leonard (knee) will not play on Monday. We noted earlier that it was possible Duncan would be rested, and that is exactly what the Spurs will do. Leonard will also sit with a sore knee, and this comes on the heels of each playing yesterday before the team has a back-to-back on Wednesday and Thursday. Without them, Tony Parker will be asked to do a lot of heavy lifting and guys like Danny Green and Stephen Jackson will see more playing time than usual.

Tim Duncan hinted that he'd have to fight off Gregg Popovich in order to play on Monday against the Grizzlies. "Yeah," Duncan said when asked directly if he'd have to work on Popovich to convince him to play on Monday. The Spurs are coming off of a last-second loss to the Miami Heat on Sunday, and with the Spurs playing another back-to-back set against the Magic and Thunder on Wednesday and Thursday, Duncan sitting on Monday wouldn't be a huge surprise. Boris Diaw is a candidate to start in place of Duncan if he sits, but Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard would be asked to carry the load.

Tim Duncan credited his resurgence this season to improved health. "It's a lot of different stuff, but honestly I just feel healthy right now." Duncan said. "I feel like I have my legs underneath me for the first time in a while. My knee pain is way down, and I just feel good on the floor." Duncan is averaging 17.6 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2.7 blocks on 50.5 percent shooting, his best numbers since the 2009-10 season.
