Samuel Dalembert started again on Wednesday but had just six points, five rebounds and three blocks in an overtime loss to the Spurs.
Jordan Hill had four points and eight boards in 18 minutes, while Patrick Patterson had 10 points and seven boards in 23 minutes. As long as Kevin McHale chooses to roll with a three-headed center, Dalembert's going to have a tough time breaking out. But his talent is unquestioned and we still think he'll emerge as the No. 1 option out of this trio.

Samuel Dalembert finally overtook Jordan Hill for the starting center job for the Rockets on Saturday, but struggled with two points, four rebounds, two steals and no blocks in 23 minutes.
Hill played 13 minutes off the bench for six points and three rebounds, and while it's great news that Dalembert started, there are still apparently legitimate conditioning concerns with Sammy. If you have options, just keep him on your bench until he gets back into shape.

Samuel Dalembert will make his first start of the season for the Rockets on Saturday.
It's about time. Kevin McHale has resisted this move for a while, presumably because Sammy wasn't in the greatest shape, but the Rockets are reeling after three crushing losses and need a boost in their starting five. Sammy should get plenty of rebounds and blocks for the undersized Rockets and is a must-own player if you're in search of a fantasy center.

Samuel Dalembert came off the bench for just 12 minutes for four points, five rebounds and no blocks in an ugly loss to the Clippers on Wednesday.
Kevin McHale got creative last night, playing starter Jordan Hill 12 minutes, bust Hasheem Thabeet seven minutes and little known Chandler Parsons (who had played less than three total minutes in his previous two games) 24 minutes. Dalembert is still the guy to own here, but we're starting to wonder if McHale is ever going to turn to him. He's shown him no love thus far, and while we still believe Dalembert will be the starting center at some point, McHale's wacky rotation tonight is frustrating. Hold Dalembert if you can, as he is still the favorite to come out a winner in this mess.

Rockets centers Samuel Dalembert and Jordan Hill were abused by Andrew Bynum on Tuesday, when he lit them up for 21 points and 22 rebounds.
Dalembert is still coming off the bench and had just seven points and five rebounds in 18 minutes, while Hill started and had two points and four boards in 19 minutes. Neither player had a block, and we're still a little confused as to why Dalembert isn't starting. Hill has played well, but it's time to get Sammy in the starting five and let him do work. Maybe tonight's loss will inspire Kevin McHale to make the move, but we'll be the first to admit neither center did well at all against Bynum, who is on fire.

Samuel Dalembert dealt with foul trouble in Friday's game against the Grizzlies, and finished with four points on 1-of-3 shooting with two rebounds and two blocks in 18 minutes.
Dalembert had been playing well enough to be in lineups despite low expectations for playing time, and tonight's result is a reminder that he's not yet a must-start player. Once he steps into a starting role and plays 30+ minutes a night he'll make that leap.

Samuel Dalembert came off the bench again on Thursday in the Rockets' win over the Spurs, scoring four points on 1-of-3 shooting with seven boards and four blocks in 20 minutes.
As far as we know the low minute totals lately are due to Dalembert needing to get into basketball shape, and so far the per-minute results look just fine. Owners selecting Dalembert in the late rounds are going to get a steal once he's fully up and running.

Samuel Dalembert played just 20 minutes off the bench on Monday as he gets eased into the lineup, and scored 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting with five rebounds, two steals, and three blocks.
This is a great sign for owners as the minutes will only increase from here. Make sure he is owned in your league, as Dalembert could have flown underneath the radar after a weird offseason.

Samuel Dalembert is expected to play for the Rockets on Monday.
He hasn't practiced with his new team and isn't expected to see a lot of minutes tonight, but should be in a flow some time next week.

Samuel Dalembert, who officially signed his contract last night, went through shootaround with the Rockets on Monday.
There's still no official confirmation that he'll play in the Rockets' opener, but it would be shocking if Houston didn't plug him into the lineup vs. Dwight Howard and the Magic. The fact that he just signed his deal explains why he hadn't been practicing, and we expect to see rust on Dalembert for the first few games of the season.
