Jazz center Rudy Gobert will rest a sore shoulder during Tuesday's Summer League game. It's bad news for anyone watching the game, but won't have any long-term impact. Gobert is 10-of-11 from the field through two games, averaging 12.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocks against inferior competition, so it makes sense for Utah to rest him as a precaution.

Rudy Gobert showed off his tremendous length vs. the Bucks on Monday, making all six of his shots for 13 points with nine boards and five blocks. He's better with timing, a more adept passer and has done a great job at establishing position. Gobert should take some minutes away from Enes Kanter, so he's worth a look in deep drafts. Although, he needs to work on his free throws.

I just can't wait for the next season and summer league, maybe more playing time." The Stifle Tower planned to go back home to France for a few weeks after the season, but will return to the United States by the end of May to start his training. Gobert has a long way to go before he's a fantasy asset, but he has the size and talent to make a difference in deeper leagues if he is able to play his way into some minutes.

The Jazz are having trouble finding room in their rotation for Rudy Gobert. The 21-year-old Frenchman has a ton of upside, but the Jazz don't have any minutes to give to him at the moment. "Where we are right now. I mean, who you gonna play him in front of?" coach Ty Corbin said. Gobert has some value in deep dynasty leagues, but fantasy owners who are making a late-season push in redraft leagues shouldn't be paying any attention to Gobert's situation.

Gobert is extremely raw, but he's shown some promise in his rookie season. He doesn't look like he'll be making an impact this year and is only worth holding in extremely deep leagues.

"Rudy's a serious pro already and you guys will soon see that," GM Dennis Lindsey said. He's more of a player that should go on a fantasy watch list than a late-round draft target.

The recovery time on Rudy Gobert's foot surgery is expected to be 2-3 weeks. He said that his shoes were too short and described his surgery as different from an ingrown toenail. Gobert looks great in this small sample size this summer and could develop into a key player for the Jazz. He put up a nice line on Thursday, scoring 11 points with eight boards and three blocks on 3-of-3 shooting against the Pacers.

Rudy Gobert didn't score in roughly seven minutes of action during Wednesday's summer league game against the Nets. Gobert did pick up two rebounds and block one shot. He's currently dealing with an ingrown toenail that will require attention after the summer league ends. Although it might appear his limited minutes were due to the injury, it's likely the Jazz simply wanted to see other players.
