Gobert totaled 17 points (4-5 FG, 9-12 FT), 12 rebounds, six assists, six blocks and two steals across 33 minutes in Monday's 104-89 win over the Mavericks.
EDGE Analysis
The Stifle Tower was at his rim-protecting best Monday, amassing a season-high amount of blocks while double-doubling for the fifth time in his first seven contests. While he put up only five shot attempts for the third time in four games, he went to the charity stripe a season-high 12 times, impressively converting nine of them. That pushed his success rate from the free-throw line to a career-best 72.4 percent, continuing the improvement he displayed in that area last season.

Gobert tallied 16 points (5-9 Fg, 6-8 FT), 14 rebounds, five blocked shots and an assist across 36 minutes in Wednesday's 97-88 loss to the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
Win or lose, Gobert is almost always a look for production in rebounds and blocks. His five blocks tonight raises his average to 2.2 blocks a game, ranking him 5th among all players. Gobert runs the risk of being so dominant that his DFS salary could bloat to a point where he can't meet value, but in roto and head-tohead formats he's an elite center in every respect.

Gobert scored 12 points (5-5 FG, 2-3 FT) while adding seven rebounds, three blocks and two assists in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 102-84 loss to the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
He wasn't able to continue his double-double streak, but Gobert compensated for the decline in boards with a season high in blocks. The 25-year-old is still only averaging 1.5 blocks per game in the early going, well short of his usual output in that category, so more rejections should be coming in short order.

Gobert scored 16 points (8-11 FG) while adding 13 rebounds, two assists and a steal in 33 minutes during Saturday's 96-87 win over the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
While he didn't get credited with a block, Gobert's presence in the paint was a big factor in a stifling Jazz defense that held the Thunder to 14 points in the first quarter and limited Russell Westbrook to just six points on the night. The 25-year-old center has now kicked off the season with three straight double-doubles, and he figures to be among the league leaders in that category once again after racking up 58 of them in 2016-17.

Gobert accumulated 10 points (5-10 FG), 13 rebounds, two steals and two blocks across 33 minutes during Friday's 100-97 loss to the Timberwolves.
EDGE Analysis
Gobert scored 18 points during the team's opener against a fast-paced Nuggets team, but only managed to drop 10 points against a slower Timberwolves team Friday. He played well in his areas of strength, however -- rebounding and defense.

Gobert recorded 18 points (7-9 FG, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, and assist and a blocked shot across 35 minutes in Wednesday's 106-96 win over the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Gobert reprised his starting role under center to begin the season and continued to prove why he's one of the elite big men in the league, despite running into some foul trouble early on in the matchup with Denver. He had to tangle with another premier center in Nikola Jokic most of the night but he came away with a much better night offensively, shooting 77.7 percent from the floor. With so many new faces, Gobert feels almost like a veteran in this revamped starting lineup - he's a reliable must'start in all formats at the 5 slot.

Gobert (rest) totaled 29 points (10-12 FG, 9-11 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 33 minutes in Tuesday's 105-99 preseason win over the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
The Stifle Tower took full advantage of one of the weakest defensive units versus centers over the last several seasons, putting together a dominating performance to close out a solid exhibition slate. Gobert posted double-digit scoring in three of his four preseason tilts and managed double-digit rebounds in three games as well. After significantly improving his shooting and free-throw percentages last season, Gobert looks primed to take another major step forward, especially considering the Jazz lost a significant portion of their offense when Gordon Hayward departed this offseason.

Gobert (rest) will start at center for Tuesday's game against the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Gobert did not play Monday night against the Suns for rest purposes. The decision to give him the night off on a back-to-back set makes sense given it is the preseason. The big man is seemingly on track for a healthy start to the season.

Gobert will sit out Monday's preseason matchup with the Suns for rest, Jazz radio play-by-play announcer David Locke reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the Jazz heading into a back-to-back set on Monday and Tuesday, coach Quin Snyder will rest his star big man to avoid a heavy workload in the preseason. Gobert should be back in the lineup for Tuesday's tilt with the Lakers, but in the meantime, look for the likes of Jonas Jerebko, Ekpe Udoh and Tony Bradley to pick up more minutes, while Derrick Favors could also potentially shift over and see more time at the center position as well.

Gobert tallied nine points (3-8 FG, 3-7 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 22 minutes in Friday's 112-101 preseason win over the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
Through three exhibitions, Gobert already appears to be in midseason form, with Friday's effort serving as his second game with double-digit boards over the first three preseason tilts. The French big man had also been hot from the field over the two games prior to Friday, having gone 12-for-14 entering the contest against the Suns. With George Hill and Gordon Hayward both having departed the Jazz this offseason, Gobert's usage and offensive responsibilities could be at a personal all-time high in the coming season.
