Lowry has apparently been playing through some bumps and bruises, and will sit out Tuesday in order to rest. Corey Joseph is slated to start in his place. The absence will be Lowry's first of the season. The decision makes sense as the team is playing the first night of a back-to-back set. The star point guard will presumably be ready to return Wednesday against the 76ers.

Lowry tallied 24 points (7-12 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 5-8 FT), nine assists, four rebounds, two steals and one block across 42 minutes in a 114-106 win over the Celtics on Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry had gone only 7-of-27 (25.9%) from three-point range over his previous four games, but it didn't take long for him to rediscover his outside shot. The point guard has been a strong outside shooter for most of his career, but he's really ratcheted up his proficiency in 2016-17, which has helped lift his scoring to new heights. He's running a 44.5 three-point percentage for the season, good for third in the league among qualifiers.

Lowry scored 27 points (7-17 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 11-14 FT) while adding 12 assists, nine rebounds, three steals and a block in 44 minutes during Saturday's 123-118 overtime loss to the Bulls.

EDGE Analysis

Thanks to the extra frame, Lowry almost notched his ninth career triple-double, but instead had to settle for his seventh double-double of 2016-17. Since being held to six points by the Spurs on Tuesday, the 30-year-old point guard has roared back with 60 total points in his last two games, along with 17 assists, 15 boards, six threes and six steals.

Lowry scored 33 points (10-17 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 9-11 FT) while adding six rebounds, five assists and three steals in 41 minutes during Thursday's 101-93 win over the Jazz.

EDGE Analysis

After being held to six points in San Antonio on Tuesday, Lowry roared back with a vengeance on his home court. He's now scored more than 20 points in seven of his last eight games, and after putting together a career season in 2015-16, he's found a way to be even better so far in 2016-17.

Lowry posted a season-low six points (2-9 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 29 minutes during a 110-82 loss to San Antonio on Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry had his worst offensive outing of the season since opening night, when he scored 10 points, as the team got routed by the Spurs. The 29 minutes and two assists were also season lows, and Lowry failed to make at least one three-pointer in a game for the first time since Nov. 12 and second time this season. He will look to bounce back from his first single-digit scoring game of the season Thursday against Utah.

Lowry finished with 27 points (9-22 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 11 assists, six rebounds and two steals across 40 minutes in a 121-111 loss to the Warriors on Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry's sixth double-double of the season wasn't enough for the Raptors to knock off the Warriors on their own home court, but fantasy owners can at least take solace in the point guard's continued excellence. He's averaging 24.5 points, 7.3 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 4.3 three-pointers per game in December, and has been able to provide that offense in a highly efficient manner. He's shot 54.6 percent from the field and 51.9 percent from three-point range on the month.

Lowry generated 27 points (8-18 FG, 5-13 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal across 40 minutes in a 95-91 win over the Trail Blazers on Monday.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry has shown no signs of slowing down for what's shaping up to be another career-best campaign. He's averaging 25.8 points (on 57.3% shooting from the field), 6.6 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 three-pointers and 1.4 steals in 35.8 minutes per game over the last five contests. The field-goal percentage is bound to trend down at some point, but the rest of that stat line doesn't look out of the ordinary for the star point guard.

Lowry racked up 27 points (9-16 FG, 3-6 FT, 6-8 3Pt), six assists and two rebounds across 37 minutes in a 125-121 loss to the Hawks on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry has long been a strong three-point shooter, but he's been even more phenomenal than ever in 2016-17, knocking down 45.5 percent of his treys on a career-high 7.3 attempts per game. He's knocked down at least three three-pointers in the past 11 games, which has translated to heightened scoring production. The point guard looks well on his way to another All-Star season.

Lowry supplied a team-high 34 points (9-18 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 12-13 FT) to go with seven rebounds, three steals and two assists across 36 minutes in Friday's 101-94 win over the Celtics.

EDGE Analysis

Lowry had gotten off to a bit of a slow start to begin the season with backcourt mate DeMar DeRozan doing the heavy lifting, but the point guard has been sensational since about mid-November. Over his last 14 games, Lowry is averaging 23.9 points, 7.7 assists, 4.7 rebounds, 3.8 three-pointers and 1.5 steals in 36.6 minutes per contest. With the exception of the steals and minutes categories, all of those numbers would match or surpass what he provided during the career-best 2015-16 campaign.

Lowry scored 25 points (8-14 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT) and added 11 assists, two rebounds and one steal in 38 minutes during Thursday's 124-110 win over the Timberwolves.

EDGE Analysis

This was Lowry's fourth double-double of the season, and the fifth time in six days that he scored at least 24 points. During this six game streak, he is averaging 23.8 points and 8.5 assists per game. Those would rank 15th and sixth in the league, respectively. Lowry was already an every-night starter in all fantasy contexts, but his current streak increases his value even further.
