Kyle Lowry suffered an injured left ring finger tendon and it will be protected with a splint for approximately six weeks.
The Raptors won't have him for the rest of the preseason as a precaution. He's going to practice and play in games, so it's not a devastating hit. Although, it's to his shooting hand, which could affect his already sub-par field goal percentage. Players like Kobe Bryant have played through finger tendon injuries and this is not out of the ordinary. Lowry just can't seem to stay healthy in his career, so he's a risky pick in the middle rounds. Dwight Buycks and D.J. Augustin are battling for the backup point guard spot and coach Dwane Casey has previously said he could play the two based on matchups.

Kyle Lowry left Wednesday's preseason game with a left ring finger injury and will not return.
It's the end of the preseason so this could be anything from a hang nail to something rather serious. We're guessing it's a minor injury and will watch for more specific news over the next 24 hours. He hit just 1-of-5 shots for two points, but did have 10 assists before leaving.

Kyle Lowry's minor hand injury won't prevent him from playing on Wednesday.
He banged his hand during Tuesday's practice, but Dwane Casey dismissed the injury as a "boo boo." As usual, Lowry's health is the key determinant of his fantasy value - he averaged 11.6 points, 1.5 threes, 4.7 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.4 steals last season, but he also missed 14 games.

Kyle Lowry had a small injury to his hand on Tuesday.
It sounds to be very minor, but considering Lowry's propensity to miss games for strange reasons, it's worth mentioning. He was a major letdown last year, so he can be a bit of a value in the middle rounds for his well-rounded fantasy impact.

The Raptors could look to buy a draft pick for Thursday's draft.
They will do "no worse than a second-round pick," so it's not going to be an identity-changing move. The Raptors have their work cut out for themselves, especially with last year's first-round pick, Terrence Ross, not really improving throughout the season. There will likely be rumors of Andrea Bargnani being traded on draft day, as well.

Kyle Lowry has lost 10 or 15 pounds "that he didn't need."
In other words, Lowry cut some of the junk from his diet and dropped some extra weight. Lowry's never been someone who has had a reputation as an amazing athlete, but it's good to see him losing weight early in the offseason to prepare for next year. He should open the season as the unquestioned starting point guard.

Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo said he wasn't sure if Kyle Lowry was ever fully healthy this season.
Lowry has developed a reputation as a bulldog, but it's always some kind of nagging injury that holds him back during the season, and that was especially true after he had offseason surgery before debuting in Toronto. He dealt with a few different things this season and wound up playing in 68 games. Colangelo also revealed that the two sides aren't having any conversations regarding a contract extension at this time.

Kyle Lowry shot 2-of-10 from the field for seven points with nine boards and six assists in 37 minutes against the Nets on Sunday.
It hasn't been pretty for Lowry and since the All-Star break he's averaged 10 points, five boards, seven assists and 1.3 triples on 39 percent shooting. He should have every opportunity to redeem himself with the Raptors having a team option for next season.

Dwane Casey has begun letting Kyle Lowry call the offense on about 40 percent of the Raptors' sets, and he's happy with the results.
"I'm not looking to shoot as much," said Lowry, whose assists have increased. "Of course I believe I can score the ball if I shoot more but [Rudy Gay and DeMar DeRozan] are the scorers ... I will sacrifice to win games." K-Low's team-first attitude is refreshing, even if he's averaging just 10.3 points in April. With a $6.2 million team option for next season, it's very likely that he'll remain with the Raptors this summer.

Kyle Lowry just missed a triple-double in Friday's 97-88 win over the Bulls with 13 points, nine boards and 11 assists in 36 minutes.
He hasn't really been making a ton of headlines, but he can do it all as evident by tonight's performance. His owners probably aren't pleased with him not cracking the top 100 in standard leagues over the past month and he could be a bargain next year. Rudy Gay (23 points, five steals, three blocks and one 3-pointer) was great while DeMar DeRozan was solid with 19 points.
