Kyle Lowry suffered an injured left ring finger tendon and it will be protected with a splint for approximately six weeks. The Raptors won't have him for the rest of the preseason as a precaution. He's going to practice and play in games, so it's not a devastating hit. Although, it's to his shooting hand, which could affect his already sub-par field goal percentage. Players like Kobe Bryant have played through finger tendon injuries and this is not out of the ordinary. Lowry just can't seem to stay healthy in his career, so he's a risky pick in the middle rounds. Dwight Buycks and D.J. Augustin are battling for the backup point guard spot and coach Dwane Casey has previously said he could play the two based on matchups.
