Kyle Lowry had his second consecutive double-double on Tuesday with 11 points and 10 assists to go with four rebounds, two steals and two 3-pointers in a win over Denver. He still hasn't really hit his stride since Jose Calderon was traded, averaging just 10.1 points on 42 percent shooting in his last seven games. Lowry has some of the best multiple-category upside of any point guard and he has some buy-low appeal.

Kyle Lowry shot 1-of-4 from the field for two points with one rebound, six assists, one steal and two blocks in 34 minutes against the Pacers on Friday. It was the second time in his last four games in which he's scored three or less points. While his scoring is down, Lowry has been good in other areas in that span, averaging 6.3 assists, 1.3 triples and 1.8 steals. He belongs in all lineups.

Lowry's first season has been a rocky ride due to nagging injuries and the exceptional play of Calderon. He sounds prepared to turn a new leaf. "The burden of it being my team it definitely is the thing I always wanted," he said. "I have no problem with this being my team and having that pressure of being a point guard and everyone looking at me to make the team go." Lowry won't be looking his shoulder anymore, freeing him up to play his aggressive offensive style. Health permitting, there's top-25 overall upside here the rest of the way.

The NBA fined Raptors coach Dwane Casey $25,000 for public criticism of officials. "I'm tired of losing games because of missed calls at the end of games. I know the league is going to come down on me, but I don't care," Casey said after Wednesday's game. Well, the league did come down on him. The Raptors have been on the short end of a lot of questionable calls by the refs this season and Wednesday's game was just the latest case.

GM Bryan Colangelo admitted Thursday he has some concerns about Kyle Lowry's health and expects to acquire a backup point guard by the Feb. 21 trade deadline. Lowry has dealt with back, triceps and ankle injuries this season, so the Raptors have reason to be concerned. After trading Jose Calderon on Wednesday, the Raptors' depth at the position is certainly in doubt. John Lucas scored 19 points, including three 3-pointers, to go along with two assists Wednesday, and it'll be up to him to prove the Raptors don't need to add another PG. As for Lowry, as long he's healthy, he's an absolute must-own with Rudy Gay coming to town and the starting job all his.

Lowry's owners are partying hard on Wednesday night now that Jose Calderon is finally out of their hair. Lowry looked great tonight, but has really struggled with injuries the last couple season. If he can stay healthy, his owners' fantasy teams are about to go on a run. Obviously, he's as must-own as it gets right now.

With news that Jose Calderon is likely on his way to Dallas or Detroit, via Memphis, Kyle Lowry is now a must-own fantasy player as the starting point guard for the Raptors. Lowry is expected to play tonight and will be in the starting lineup with the Calderon trade apparently all but official. And if he can stay healthy, he should be a beast the rest of the way. If Lowry was dropped in your league, pick him up.

Lowry missed Monday's game vs. the Warriors with back spasms, but he participated in shootaround and it appears he'll give it a go on Wednesday. Jose Calderon played a whopping 35 minutes on Monday, but should go back to his typical 27-32 with Lowry back.
