Josh McRoberts started at PF on Saturday, but he fouled out with just four points and two rebounds in 22 minutes. The skidding Bobcats dropped their 10th consecutive game and McBob's debut as a starter was not encouraging. He may hang onto the job ahead of slumping Byron Mullens, but owners should view him skeptically until he shows signs of life. In 48 games with the Magic and Bobcats this year, McRoberts is shooting 40.0 percent from the field and 70.3 percent from the FT line, with 0.3 blocks per game.

Josh McRoberts will start at power forward against the Wizards on Saturday. This news is likely the death blow to Byron Mullens in standard leagues. In his last three games, Mullens played just 11 minutes per game and grabbed a grand total of no rebounds. McRoberts doesn't have much upside and even though the Bobcats have the worst frontcourt group in the NBA, owners should take a wait-and-see approach on McBobs.

Josh McRoberts played 25 minutes and hit just 1-of-5 shots to finish with two points, six rebounds and five assists in Wednesday's loss to the Nets. Byron Mullens played through a sore knee and got just 13 minutes, and while it's possible Mullens will bounce back from his massive slump at some point in the future, it's just as possible that McBob will continue to get 25 minutes a game and become relevant in deeper leagues. Continue to monitor him going forward.

Josh McRoberts finished Sunday's loss to the Kings with six points on 3-of-12 shooting, six rebounds, one steal and two blocks in 30 minutes. McBob picked up extra minutes in garbage time, which was plentiful. That's not a recipe for sustained value, though with the Bobcats getting shellacked nightly he's worth a look in deep leagues.

Josh McRoberts expects to be active Friday night against the Bulls. McRoberts was acquired from Orlando in exchange for Hakim Warrick, who was then waived by the Magic. McRoberts could very well carve out a bench role given what the Bobcats currently have in their front court, which would make him worth watching in deeper leagues.

Josh McRoberts was traded from the Magic to the Bobcats on Thursday, in exchange for Hakim Warrick. Given the woeful state of the Bobcats' frontcourt it's very possible McBob will emerge with a bench role. Owners in standard leagues can safely ignore him, but anyone trolling for deep-league depth should keep him on their sonar.

Josh McRoberts started at PF ahead of Andrew Nicholson on Monday, finishing with five points (2-of-12 shooting), six rebounds, six assists and two turnovers in 33 minutes. McBob's passing abilities may have earned him the nod tonight, but he was part of an improbably bad starting unit for the Magic -- E'Twaun Moore, Ish Smith, Maurice Harkless, McRoberts, and Nikola Vucevic. The lineup will change depending which of Orlando's injured players are available for Wednesday's game, so there's not much to be gleaned from tonight's boxscore.

Josh McRoberts scored 12 points off the bench on Monday against the short-handed Blazers, hitting 4-of-6 shots (including two threes) with six rebounds, eight assists, and one block in 39 minutes. This is a great line and McRoberts may have earned himself a solid bench role with the effort, but this comes against a Blazers team missing Meyers Leonard in an already non-existent bench corps. He had two points, 10 boards, and five assists on Saturday, and either way he has Glen Davis coming back in the next few weeks so owners will want to tap the brakes with whatever they do.

Josh McRoberts played a shade under 30 minutes on Saturday, finishing with two points, 10 rebounds and five assists. McBob would be worth a long look if he consistently played 30 minutes per game, but that's not the case. His value is severely capped, moreover, by the fact that Glen Davis (shoulder) is expected back within a few weeks.

Josh McRoberts played just under 40 minutes off the bench on Monday, scoring 12 points on 3-of-8 shooting with six rebounds and three assists. McBob did not have a steal or block, and this comes with Gustavo Ayon out tonight. One look at his game log will tell owners that we need to see more before giving him much attention.
