Josh McRoberts hopes to sign a multi-year deal in the offseason. McRoberts is seeing some stability, but the last time he signed a two-year deal, it was with the Lakers. Since then, he's been traded to Orlando and then sent to Charlotte, so nothing is guaranteed even if he does get a multi-year pact.

Josh McRoberts (left shoulder strain) will not play against the Heat on Sunday. He suffered the strain in the first quarter of Saturday's game and was able to return, but it has apparently gotten worse overnight. Byron Mullens will start and his fantasy life may be revived with this news. He's worth owning in most situations and McRoberts should be considered questionable vs. Orlando on Wednesday.

Josh McRoberts strained his shoulder during Saturday's game, but he returned in the second half to finish with four points, nine rebounds and two steals in 25 minutes. The fact that he returned suggests he'll be in the starting lineup vs. Miami on Sunday, but we'll keep him on the injury list as a precaution. In his past five games, McRoberts was averaging 12.2 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals.

Josh McRoberts suffered a left shoulder strain in the first half of Saturday's game and his return is probable. It sounds like he will be fine, but with the bad injury news that's covering the NBA landscape, you'll want to check back for an update. Byron Mullens would get some extra minutes should the news turn sour.

Josh McRoberts had 12 points and 12 rebounds on 5-of-9 shooting in another start at power forward on Wednesday. McBob has played very well and is worth owning in most leagues as long as he continues to start. Just beware that Byron Mullens is out of the doghouse and had 25 points and a full stat line tonight off the bench.

Josh McRoberts kept up his strong play as the Bobcats' starting PF, finishing Saturday's game with nine points, 10 boards, three assists, two steals, two blocks and zero turnovers. Byron Mullens had eight points and five rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench, while McBob logged 38 minutes, and there are no indications that Mike Dunlap will change his PF rotation. If you need a cheap source of across-the-board value, give McRoberts a long look.

Josh McRoberts started again at power forward and scored 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting (no threes) with nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks in 38 minutes on Friday against the Raptors. Except for the 'no threes' part this was a vintage McBob line and what owners should be expecting on a good night. Byron Mullens (back) played just eight minutes but it's unclear if he was healthy whether or not he would be on the floor for the Bobcats. McRoberts is a must-add player if you need a forward, and he's worth an add in general with the hopes he can keep this up.

Josh McRoberts started at power forward again on Tuesday and had 13 points, 12 rebounds, a steal and 3-pointer on 5-of-6 shooting in a blowout win over the Celtics. McBob now looks locked and loaded as the starting power forward, as Byron Mullens is not only in the doghouse, but suffered a lower back strain tonight. If you've been thinking about grabbing McBob, or need a power forward, this is your sign.

Josh McRoberts will start Tuesday's game against the Cavs, which leaves Byron Mullens on the bench for another game. Mullens' fall has been precipitous and we see no reason why owners should gamble that he makes any changes tonight. As for McRoberts, he should be watched from the wire until he gives owners a reason to pay attention.

Mike Dunlap said that he started Josh McRoberts over Byron Mullens on Saturday to improve the Bobcats' rebounding. The move didn't exactly pay off, as McRoberts had two boards and Charlotte was out-rebounded 45-32. "It's like herding cats sometimes," Dunlap said, referring to his teams numerous lapses on both ends of the court. "When you're not eligible for the playoffs, then it's about development, it's about a system, it's about having the attitude that you have something at stake ... You can't fake it." Saturday's switch reduced Mullens to five minutes off the bench, and fantasy owners should avoid the whole mess.
